Wrong fight. Lee lost his mum before the Warrington fight. It was the fight before. There had been a lot of needle between Lee n Josh for years before the fight. His fans behaviour can hardly be down to Josh.
Back to Leeds he just doesn’t give me any excitement or sense of greatness that makes me want to even read anything about him. Heard he’s a top guy and nothing against him as a person but he hasn’t got that star quality for me sorry.
He's a bulldozer at the weight. There aren't many featherweights that could handle his size and work rate. I was really impressed by his angles and footwork in the Frampton fight too. I would have him favourite against LSC and Valdez. Haven't seen enough of Russell Jr to fairly judge, but if he isn't huge at the weight then good luck to him.
Just the fact that nearly all top UK fighters go to america and get beat makes me believe he'd get smashed by a couple of them guys. Don't mean to be negative but not many fighters from here go over to the states and just beat a row of top fighters.
Can see Frampton getting the Trilogy fight with LSC before Josh gets the fight. But I back him to beat both Valdez and LSC, the Russell Jr fight is a tight one which could go either way for me.
Don't see anything that spectactular in JW Selby and Frampton have both been better than JW has ever been in the past , think Josh has overacheived and will end with a few L's but I have huge respect for him and hope he proves me wrong like he already has several times.
He is a solid british level fighter and that's absolutely fine we should enjoy our domestic scene. A lot of this current crop of british fighters across all weights are beginning to get found out beyond British level (Ritson, Cheeseman), its going to be interesting to see who finally breaks through
R u on the right thread. British level. His a world champion beating the champ no vacant title then beat a 2 weight world champ lmao
Valdez did look good in his last fight but the opponent didn't come to fight, he was just trying to stay out of the way. Didn't work tho. It would be a good fight between Valdez and Warrington.
I am going off of his career as opposed to his last fight. I thought he made relatively easy work of Quigg and Gradovich too. Every single win has been comprehensive and he had some good success in the amateurs as well. Very slick
Yes good am grado was done by the time he met Valdez he was no where near how he used to be. Quigg was a good win, I agree.
