With an undercard of Parker Chisora, Hunter Takam, and Browne Allen I've no issue with ppv. Feeling we'll only get 2 of the 4 though.
What’s wrong with it being a final eliminator... there is no need for some ridiculous interim belt. Should be a good scrap though, so no complaints from me.
My only problem with the fight is that it'll be PPV. I still think PPV should be for the mega fights only, but this is just the way it is now unfortunately. Hopefully there's a good undercard to compensate a bit. But the fight itself, I like. I think it has the makings of an entertaining fight. I think against Joshua, Brezeale froze and just didn't turn up. Reluctant to let his hands go and became a human punch bag for 7 rounds. Maybe the occasion got to him, or maybe Joshua just caused him to fight with fear. But he has shown he can fight a bit too. The fight against Ugonoh was brilliant. Not technically brilliant, but a brilliant slugfest, a real war and Brezeale showed some steel, getting off the floor to come back and win by KO. If that version of Brezeale shows up then we could be in for a cracker.
That’s all it is. I won’t view either as a world champion. I’ll view them as mandatory, something which should’ve been cleared up a long time ago.
Matchroom should acquire Ambrosia as their new sponsor because all they are dishing up right now is pudding v pudding.
Wouldn’t be surprised for Whyte to let this go to pursebid and see if matchroom or punch want him more. Be interesting on the splits ordered. If this is matchroom, if Allen vs Browne and Parker vs. Chisora are on this card it’s not a bad PPV card to be fair in this day and age.
5 million to get KTFO by AJ and then what next? A few cans to rebuild? Or take a few mil for a much easier fight, build your profile and then mando for Wilder/Fury plus the AJ rematch will always be there because of the “beef”.
This really isn’t PPV- even with Allen/Browne on the card it’s a scandal this is being put on PPV. Even with Khan the same night this will likely struggle to do big numbers (but still be profitable for all parties). Stick both heavyweight fights on regular Sky in consecutive weeks- that’s what the rights fees are for.
