All you Loma haters are desperately searching for someone to beat him.. I'm hearing Davis, Lopez, Berchelt, Garcia, Machado, Farmer.... and then you are going up to 140 and 147 and looking for hopes there when he's way too small for them divisions lol it's pathetic. The only guy at 130 or 135 that would have even had a chance is Albert Selimov. Who like a lot of Soviet fighters has not had the opportunity to turn pro. You haters should be donating money to promoters or messaging them to try and get them to sign him He's the only guy that beat Loma in the amateurs, ( it was avenged twice), but all the fights were close. He was a brilliant fighter, he's aged 32 now he'd have to be seriously fast tracked if he did go pro.
Yeah I'd be here all day listing them But just in recent times Floyd Mayweather lost to Serafim Todorov Vasyl Lomachenko lost to Albert Selimov Anthony Joshua lost to Mihai Nistor and Magomedrasul Majidov, Errol Spence lost to Andrey Zamkovoy and Serik Sapiyev Gennady Golovkin, Jeff Lacy. Jermain Taylor and Zsolt Erdei all lost to Gaydarbek Gaydarbekov Gary Russell Jr lost to Sergey Vodopyanov Guillermo Rigodeaux lost to Aghasi Mammodov Yuriorkis Gamboa lost to Aleksei Tischenko Sergey Kovalev, and Artur Beterbiev lost to Abbos Atoev yet all them in bold never turned pro
Honestly who cares? Just because you beat some one as an am doesn't mean you will beat them as a pro. There have been fighters who were trash or average am fighters and great pros and vice versa.
yeah but there's such a long line of them from the Soviet Union, some of them would have failed obviously, but undoubtedly many of them would have been world champions. Guys like Oleg Saitov, Aleksei Tischenko, Serik Sapiyev, were P4P talents like Loma and Usyk.
