Miller doesn't have the best defence but if he can walk through Joshua's shots his work rate and volume will cause him issues definitely.

That's a big IF. No-one thus far has been able to walk through Joshua's shots. Also, the fact that AJ is a combination puncher means that if the first punch doesn't get you, the next 2 or 3 will. Even if Miller has a McCall level chin, he can maybe take single shots fine but he can't take power combos all night.

Lets be honest Miller is a bit of a freak show, he's this era's Butterbean or Valuev, his size is a intriguing aspect of him and he's been lined us vs weak opposition to pad his record just like them. If size alone were a deciding factor Butterbean and Valuev would be ATG's.

I do think he's a decent fighter, top 15 kind of level, but he's in against an elite fighter for the first time and this is a big, big step up. Joshua is going to demolish him so badly we'll have Miller was exposed threads or Miller was never any good threads which is kind of true he's nowhere near as good as some make him out to be.

Miller can only fight and win one way, come forward, eat shots, overwhelm his opponents with pressure. People hoping he can do to Joshua what he did to Dinu are in fantasy land. Miller isn't going to just walk Joshua down. He's going to be walking into bombs, he is not as good on the inside as Joshua, so even if he gets past the jab, he's getting owned on the inside. Maybe he can keep eating shots like Froch vs Groves in the first fight and just keep plowing forward taking monster shots for several rounds, then it will come down to what gives out first, Miller's chin or Joshua's stamina, but that's a very unlikely outcome.

Joshua KO's Miller between rounds 3-6 depending on whether Miller keeps coming forward and goes out on his shield or he goes into survival mode. Everyone then trashes Miller saying he was always garbage and how it was a mismatch and they can't believe Hearn made this fight and fooled so many people into believing Miller was anything but a sacrificial lamb.

thing is, AJ had a good thing going with his defence vs parker plus ktfo wlad, but now hes ruining it with this guy.

Agreed, this is a mismatch. It's not an ideal fight but with Wilder/Fury rematch and both of them not willing to fight Joshua first and Whyte pricing himself out of a fight, he's left with little options.

I just hope this is a move by Joshua to get used to fighting in the US as he realised there's no way Wilder fights outside of the US without the protection of bias judges and this is a precursor to him agreeing a fight in the US as a last ditch attempt to entice Wilder in to the ring vs him. It's the only reason I can think of Joshua deciding to take the fight in the US now. It's time he tries and breaks America, but I would of preferred he fought a legit threat like Ortiz in the US not another obese American with a padded record.

Did so and twice. All you talked about was size and pressure. That's it. I think you are putting too much emphasis on the physical aspects.
But like you, I believe it will be a tremendous fight. And Joshua's caution will play into the hands of Miller.

I got your back here, that's what I was alluding to on the Miller going the distance thread, the more I've thought about this fight, the more I see Miller as an absolute nightmare for him. Mind you, I've seen almost every AJ fight, and around 12 of Miller's and all of his last 10 fights. Miller is probably one of the most underrated HW's on the scene today and is a nightmare for anyone.

Understand this all, AJ likes to control range and has never dealt with a heavy handed volume punching pressure fighter, Miller's pressure is SUFFOCATING. This will be one of the toughest fights of AJ's career.

What you thinking the result will be? I think Miller causes problems for rounds 1-3 but then gets caught and stopped by a counter punch. I don't think Miller is defensive enough to play the long game needed to tire out AJ.

No. I already mentioned Miller can fight with variety. He has a good jab and yes he has. He can fight from the distance jabbing and moving but he can also come forward throwing straight hands. Also one thing i forgot about to mention was Millers really, really good body work. Seeing a guy working the body in the HW is rare. Miller is doing that. He has variety, he is no one-dimensional coming forward type of a fighter. That's not the case. He showed the ability to box and he might be no talent of the century but he is a better boxer than Dillian Whyte for example. And of course i talked a lot about the physical aspects. And i explained it. Joshuas has never faced anyone of Millers size. And if you would know something about the sports, yeah i talk about being in a ring with a (much) bigger guy, you would know that size matters in the HWD. I have never seen Joshua boxing on the backfoot or being pressured by a 320 lb guy? He barely dealed with Povetkins pressure from time to time and Povetkin is a CW if it comes to his body composition. Joshua likes to box from HIS distance, he wants to decide where he is but if an opponent will do that i don't know if he can deal with that.
