Can't understand the abuse Crolla is getting for this considering he's been called for it.

However, this will be the biggest one-sided beatdown for some time - for as long as it lasts...

He’s mandatory, probably his last title shot, big pay day. You can’t knock him or Eddie for taking it. But Lomachenko is going to absolutely pick him apart. Limb from limb.

Such a waste of time. We've got a potential ATG in his 30's here, with the possibility of fighting the Garcia's or other up and comers of this world. There's little time to lose.

Instead he's wasting his time by fighting this hype job Ukrainian.

I'm not knocking Crolla, what's he supposed to do, turn the fight down? But it's a poor fight. But Crolla will give it his all, and I can't see him quitting midway through like Walters or Rigondeaux. Since the fight is in LA and will be about 5am in the UK and it's on a Friday, hopefully they don't put this on PPV.

I dont think anybody, apatfrom a few idiots, is abusing Crolla its more people dotn want to see Loma in a 99.9% - 0.1% missmatch.

Delighted it's in America. I was dreading Sky/matchroom's PPV spin on this. At least now it'll be toned down a little.

No one is. Everyone on Twitter is saying "Why is Crolla getting abuse!?" without pointing to any evidence. People don't like mismatches but the Billy Brit brigade loves the plucky underdog

And I am sick to death of hearing "At least it's a good pay day for Crolla". So what? Has he been fighting for free his whole career then? Remember the Barroso card against Crolla being made cheap as **** so that he could get a good pay day?

There is literally no one in the top 10 that's currently available more worthy than Crolla. Mikey is tied up with Spence. The Comney injured. Campbell waiting for WBC (and probably not more worthy in fairness). I don't see anyone more worthy? Crolla will work his arse off but will be handily beat, but it's not a bad fight by any means.

If it's keeping loma on schedule for becoming undisputed lightweight champ then I'm happy.

The fight doesn’t bother me in the slightest. Mis-matches/tune up fights happen all time time. Crolla has no chance as everybody knows, and Gallagher will have one hand on the towel for when it predictably gets on top - if he’s getting a good pay fair play to him, hopefully he will ride off into the sunset afterwards with everything intact.
