Matchroom are pretty much gone to America at this stage. He was talking about taking Smith over there too. Cant knock them for doing this as typically the best british fighters build up over here then go for there for the big ones. Just funny how they have led Matchroom FC down the garden path.

Notice how Adam Smith and Eddie seem to be having a lot more "crossover words" in joint interviews now, with different signals coming from each one.

I'm starting to think both are aware that MR's contract won't be getting renewed or is in jeopardy.

 

I always thought the Matchroom FC thing was just an injoke on here.. but the other day I saw an ‘Anthony Joshua Fan Account’ page with #MatchroomFC in the bio and all pro-MR tweets. Didn’t realise it was a real thing!

 

They will still need a british platform though. Im very interested to see what happens.

 

It is a joke not just this forum. I have seen that fan account you talk about and it is a pure troll. I wouldn't be surprised if its Tony Hayers from here.

 

My prediction, if MR don’t get renewed, is that DAZN will enter the UK market as a direct competitor to Sky and BT. It’s an interesting business model and looks good value in the US.

 

It was an absolutely dreadful account.. couldn’t tell if it was parody or not. At first glance I thought it was genuine!
