He’s only about 3 weeks older than junior bud.

As I believed before this fight it was interesting purely because of the question marks over both fighters ? CEJ’s skill set at top level and was Degale as shot as he looked against Truax ? We got the answers Degale needs to retire and I hope he has enough money invested to support himself. I generally felt there was a more prepared CEJ from a technical perspective and it will be interesting to see what’s next. The current promotional situation I think will make it difficult to get one of the other belt holders at either Middle or SuperMiddle in the ring in the near future we will have to see.

To be honest that was a terrible and dull fight last night, but up to now Eubank has usually been in exciting fights. I think it was a bad style matchup last night, plus the usual southpaw orthatdox problems.

Think Degale was the problem with that last night. He was only throwing single shots and falling in to the clinch. His punch resistance was gone and he knew it. He was frightened to engage with Junior hence the eye sore at times.

Degale should definitely call it a day. Horrible for him to go out on a loss but he clearly cant take a punch any more.

I do wonder when watching these fights whats going through the mind of those in the corner, even if he found a lottery punch he was done and couldn't possibly go again with someone else.

do you think if degale feigned injury from the body slam then the ref would have to DQ CEJ

How can you say that (the bit in bold) when he's just signed with PBC who have two of the other super middleweight champions?
