I feel Maidana did better v Floyd than 95% percent of Floyd`s opponents, this study shows his underrated skills as a pressure fighter:

Should I move this to the classic section?

He was a tough guy and a great fighter, not a great boxer though. He's kind of the opposite to Khan, who beat him, Khan was and probably still is a fantastic boxer, just not a great fighter.

Canelo showed the blue print on how to know Khan out, Vargas copied his body punching and jabbing set up that led to him flooring Khan with te right hand, Maidana fought far smarter v Floyd had he been able to see this kind of blueprint before his bout withKhan he would havehave exploited Khan`s weakness, Khan has been busted, game over.

Maidana's boxing IQ was under rated. He knew how to fight with the tools he had and when he got with Garcia he improved a great deal. Besides Mosley, he is the only fighter I saw that rocked Mayweather for real. If the bell had not of rung, Mayweather would have been in some real serious trouble.

Losing 12-0 to Alexander is bad. Also, a puncher like himself not beating Khan is kind of inexcusable.

Canelo weighed over a stone more than Khan on the night and Khan had serious trouble putting the weight on for that one, it was a ridiculous thing having that at a 155 catchweight when Alvarez could still make 147 at that point in time. It was set up to nullify what strengths Khan had, his speed and output, whilst playing to Alvarez's, giving him more weight and power. Khan is probably done now, but he has been fantastic to watch over the years, in my opinion.

No, Srisaket Sor Rungvisai, Josh Warrington, Kazuto Ioka, Donnie Nietes, Brian Carlos Castano, Oleksandr Gvozdyk and Jose Pedraza are far more underrated in terms of boxing skills.

the blue print to beat khan was created way before that, probably around the 1930s.

I like Chino quite a lot but he isn't even close to what you're suggesting.

I'd say Danny Jacobs, whom most picked to get KTFO by GGG only to push him life and death (and whom now, again, people are picking to get KTFO by Canelo, for some reason) is more consistently underrated.

Absurd. Please watch the fight sober some day.

On Maidana, you have to give credit to the Garcias for giving him the right game plan in the Broner and Floyd fights, and to Maidana for being tough enough and adaptable enough to carry it out. So, somewhat underrated, yes.
