Great post you are right about the big Dosser , Fury is a fraud but many of his followers are brainwashed and don't want to hear the truth , he had the chance of the rematch with Wilder like he did with Klitschko but with Fury it's the usual crap he bottles it , Fury is becoming a bore, Fight Wilder or retire !

Fury went life & death with Wilder last start.

Everyone wants to see the rematch but I don't think that means he has to go life & death with him again next fight.

If they each do their own thing next fight & then do the rematch, that seems reasonable to me.

The complicating factor is how are they going to do the rematch if Showtime have invested heavily in Wilder & ESPN in Fury.

The fight, though big, is perhaps not big enough to justify the involvement of both networks.

Sadly, Arum did use the "marinate" word regarding Fury-Wilder 2. And yes, I did cringe when I heard it. He also dropped that stupid word in regards to Crawford-Spence. It may not be Bob's thing, but he likes to throw it around.

Fury is only exciting when he fights an exciting fighter. Arum thinks he will make lots of money with him, but Fury might self destruct even before Wilder rematch. Just like before the Klitschko rematch.

    Fury's not fighting Wilder next.

I reckon it's either Parker or Jennings next for Fury.

Looking forward to seeing Parker challenge for the Lineal H/W Championship of the World.

Yeah, I know he did-wasn't implying you thought it was exclusive to him; just making the point it's now an almost universally overused...and annoying... word in the modern fight game. Why has a bl00dy cookery term become so popular now? The sport was fine without it. Don't recall Bob saying Hagler beating Hamsho and Hearns defeating Len Hutchins was part of the marinating process for their legendary battle. He should know better than to follow the in vogue, trendy terms. Anyway we agree.

Waste of time. Parker is destined to be a journeyman. Fury will dominate. Greed is at the root of all boxing decisions, and sure that somehow this is no exception.

I've argued against this before, but this seems VERY much like that's what they're setting up for - whether they admit or realise it or not. Very disappointing, but going into a fight like this is taking "opponent" mentality. I am, or have been a fan of Joe but I give him next to 0 chance in this and it certainly won't be building his name for bigger fights.

    Where's the Kiwi fighting spirit?

Fury is coming off one of the most epic performances in the history of the H/W division & Parker is about to get a shot at him.

Parker would have been railroaded into a showdown with Usyk if he'd gone down the other path.

    Great opportunity for Parker.

That's part of the answer there. Fury hasn't got any titles, technically didn't win his last fight but showed he is very capable, and has a 6 inch height advantage and even bigger reach advantage against Parker. Seriously, Parker is going to look totally harmless in this... what would he be able to do in this fight? Not only that, but Fury will clown him in the pressers etc. I really can't see how this is going to go well.

Well, I find this all a bit distasteful. If you want to play the 'Big man' then fine but if both Fury and Wilder act like they're #1&#2 then go and fight AJs left-overs it's a bad funking look. If you make the bed, you should lie in it.

I for one actually think Parker has a good shot in this one. He has the best chin in the HW division I think and if he really gets motoring he has the legs and stamina to be up in Fury's face all night. I'm not saying that's his style but remember Chisora gave Fury a tough time over 2 fights simply because he was relentless and could walk through a lot of shots.

Fury has the shot selection and talent but as we saw with Degale and Eubank Jr, chin and physicality count for a lot in boxing and I'm not convinced Fury sails through this one unscathed just cos he's 'better'.

A journeyman? Just by challenging the very best?

Nope - the top guys are the main ones that Parker should be fighting. Especially Wilder. Parker could take him OUT.

Yeah, when was the last time Parker took someone "out"........the silent agreement Samoan is going to take his paycheck for loss number 3/4 fighting Fury or Wilder......the ultimate never was.

Fury v Parker , it's a dangerous fight for Fury if Parker land's some powershots , if Fury Win's who is next . Won't be Wilder , Fury be After AJ's 4 Belt's next , AJ would destroy Fury wit a KO . AJ is da best British heavyweight right now , not Fury .

The funny thing is I mostly agree with this, we often complain about people NOT fighting the best... but at this stage he needs to rebuild his name, and part of what annoys me about this is that his team have basically said that Fury is the best and sound very aware Parker is likely to lose but he needs big fights and there is money to be made.

As far as I am concerned Higgins has admitted this is a cash grab. I guess you have to be in to win anyway, but Parker will have losses to Fury, AJ and Whyte - it starts getting hard to argue his case as a top contender if he has fought and lost to 3 of the top 10.
