I was thinking the same. He looked very jittery before the fight. And throughout he had no balance and his feet were all over the place. That's not just shot. Something else is up.
Just watched the second round and DeGale looks weak like Leonard did v Norris, he looked punchy and punched like he had Parkinsons.
I have watched four rounds of this bout now and Eubank didn`t land much by this stage what he did land though had Degale in trouble, that has been the main difference in the bout up to where I have watched, Eubank hadn`t been throwing much and missed 6 punches in the fourth not throwing much more than that but he hurt DeGale again, not impressed at all.
Agreed. I always kind of figured DeGale would have a short prime. He's shown he's well off of it now. Eubank Jr's camp can talk all they want about his new trainer, and how Chris looks like a different fighter - but he doesn't. The sport simply started to pass by James DeGale about 24 months ago. I didn't like the fact that De Gale was so openly talking about his retirement before the fight. He knew what was up. I hope it's nothing that's going to impair his life post-boxing.
That's the truth. Plenty of SMWs who can make Eubank Jr pay for missing shots like that and plenty that'll tee off on him. Eubank Jr's own prime likely won't be long.
Nobody is teeing off on Young Christopher, going to war with him is a bad idea unless you want to get hurt. Billy Joe would be a **** super middle he isn't much of a puncher at 160. He will get walked down by average Joe's at 168
Eubank missed 6 shots rd 6 but started working the body at behest of his corner, that`s an improvement Degale didn`t listen to his corner at all and was panic fighting like a schoolkid, he didn`t set up any straight lefts with the jab and didn`t bother with feints as his corner advised him too, while Malinaggi was showing DeGale how to implement jis hook before the fight in the changing room DeGale wasn`t listening and was completely distractecd like he was nervous and wouldn`t move focused as Paulie took him throughh some shadow boxing, he seemed really daft for a former world champ.
Everyone knows after the event.... Only the best at mw and smw can hang with CEJ, it's no cake walk for anyone. Let's see is Vasquez can make the necessary changes before writing off one of the most dedicated and dynamic fighters around.
if some of the forum here changed there surnames to eubank, they'd likely achieve the same as Livingstone.
