Yes it's old news, DAZN is going to shake up American boxing sod paying $80 for PPV's. Stream DAZN for a tenner a month etc etc. I heard the spiel.

Wilder's bigger profile will now drive more subscriptions hence the extra money in the offers, it's simple maths. Just like the PPV numbers you didnt acknowledge. Do you have to re-invent the wheel every day? I feel like I'm trying mansplain to the missus.

I'm done trying to explain the fact's of life to you.

There’s not a chance that Wilder’s presence on DAZN will drive subscriptions to merit a $15m purse against Kownacki. He doesn’t sell tickets and he doesn’t have this massive profile stateside that you seem to think he has. He has 1.7m IG followers. That’s paltry compared to legit high profile athletes.

Joshua’s global profile trumps Wilder’s considerably and his fight against a Povetkin which was stylistically fantastic attracted 15,000 streams on DAZN.

Again, as I have stated from the off the maths don’t add up but keep making a fool of yourself desperately trying to claim otherwise. This notion that signing Wilder is going to make DAZN’s subscriptions skyrocket is completely baseless.

The point is they can pay it. Whether it's affordable is irrelevant. They want to pay it to get the Joshua fight. If that means taking a hit then they clearly feel the Joshua vs Wilder fight is a sufficient pay off.

One could argue that there is no guarantee paying Canelo 365m will guarantee the subs required but that's not the question. The question is can DAZN afford to pay him that and the answer is yes.

Instead of wondering how Wilder can get $15 mil to fight Breazeale ask yourself would you like him to take $15 mil to fight Breazeale if it means Joshua v Wilder happens afterwards?

Your argument sounds like you would prefer Hearn to offer Wilder $5 mil to fight Breazeale to convince yourself the numbers add up.

The weasel Espinoza and old fart Shelly Finkel have been making money off Wilder while leaving him dry for years now.

His PPV against Fury bombed and the fight before was career high purse of 2$ mil.

Seriously Deontay, if you're smart you leave Finkel and Showdump and sign for millions with DAZN or ESPN.

That's rather like saying, Wilder deserves the lottery Jackpot, even though he's never bought a ticket. And that's exactly why I feel he's a fraud as Champion and this ridiculous sense of entitlement he now displays gets so on my ****ing tits.

How exactly has he not bought a ticket? He holds the WBC belt four years now. He's fortunate to be unbeaten but that's what his record states. He's just been involved in a PPV that generated over 20 million dollars. ESPN and DAZN are bidding big for his services. I fail to understand the point you're making?

You can't seriously believe that Wilder deserves a 30-40 million dollar payday for fighting AJ off the back of 2 near failed cherry picks against Oldtiz and Fury and only one mandatory defence in best part of 4 years as a champion?

How much can the fight generate? I said a champion deserves 30% - 40% in a unification fight. Not 30 - 40 million, unless that amounts to 40% of the purse. I think Wilder deserves 40% for a fight against AJ because AJ's 60% will be far and away his biggest payday. It takes two men to make a superfight.

Now, I think Eddie should offer Wilder 50% for the unification fight. Not because Wilder deserves it, but because if AJ wins, he regains the heavyweight division and never has to pay a man 50% again. It's wide open at the moment and Top rank have opened the door for AJ v Wilder. Eddie should bite the bullet, throw 50% at Wilder, win the fight, win it again on better terms and tell Tyson Fury he ain't getting more than 40%, nor anyone else for that matter.

I dunno, if I was AJ, I wouldn't even offer Wilder 50% of my used toilet paper. I get that Hearn is likely going to HAVE to offer Wilder 50% just to get the Alabama gobshite to even flinch towards the negotiating table, and that's just my problem. Success should be earnt in this life, not just handed to you on a plate.

Wilders 'success' of late has been off the back of other fighters commercial value, not his own.

AJ is running out of opponents. His career remains in an excellent condition at the moment, but every fight he has without AJ or Fury the voices of discontent get louder. Eventually he'll be wide open for criticism. That's how it work. Now is a great time to fight Wilder, Deontays stock is high and the WBC belt is on the line. As I say, if I'm Eddie I do everything I can to make that fight happen.

Hearn sees Wilder struggle against Fury - then lines him up to fight Joshua. Why doesn’t he wait til their both on the verge of retirement ... #protect the cash cow ;)

“Success should be earnt in this life” says an anonymous shoeshine boy on an Internet forum to the WBC World Heavyweight Champion worth multi millions.

Not that you take other posters and Internet quotes out of context very often but, to repeat myself yet again, Wilder has gone from earning 2 million dollars a fight to demanding 50% of a potential 100 million dollar fight relatively speaking almost overnight. He is so undeserving of such a huge pot off the back of a title defence that just about everyone agrees should have been a loss and barring two decent opponents his career has been a procession of can crushing exploits.

Wilder is no Mayweather or Pacquiao or Canelo when it comes to his commercial value and marketabilty and yet, he's deluded enough to think he is the A side in any future matchup. He's just a **** and the sooner he gets ironed the **** out, the better.

Did Wilder struggle v Ortiz prior to the Fury fight?
