You're just reinforcing my point. He had no answer for the jab. He couldn't get through it, that's why he didn't stand his ground. If he did he would have been KO'd no doubt in my mind. This isn't hindsight, this is knowing a bit of boxing. It's like saying if Lemieux would have held his ground against GGG things would maybe have been different. They couldn't get past that jab.
Agree. If Haye had stood his ground he may have been KO'd but also could have accepted the risk and had a slim but legitimate chance of winning. As it was he used negative tactics for 12 rounds, tarnished his reputation and damaged British boxing.
