Question: it’s not ok that fury said wilder isn’t big enough, but when Joshua said that it was ok?

Can someone please make sense of this. Recently Tyson Fury came out and said wilder isn’t big enough to fight him.

Yet he fought wilder a few months ago on PPV and they did pretty solid numbers. Every one seems to agree that’s a byllsh!t excuse that’s nonsensical.

When Joshua used this same excuse everyone agreed, especially after Eddie Hearn was running around Brooklyn like a maniac asking everyone who wilder was.

By now Joshua had fights against

    Dominic Breazeale
    Charles Martin
    Big baby miller
    Joseph Parker
    Carlos Takam

Can anyone explain why when fury says wilder isn’t big enough it’s not ok, but when Joshua said it... it was ok?

    joshua never said that.
joshua is the only one that seems to be making proper offers.

what you mean is, when they said he "didnt deserve a bigger split" because he wasn't as known.

fury and wilder are about the same level in usa. Fury has just signed a nice contract, doesnt make him bigger.
The UK gulable public are the ones that follow him.

It's not OK for Tyson Fury to say it. Also it would not be OK if Joshua said it.

I've seen the Tyson Fury tweet. I thought it was an attempt for Fury to cover up his embarrassment at pulling out of the rematch.

Could someone provide the link to Joshua saying Wilder is not big enough to give him a fight? I've not seen that. I have seen Hearn saying Wilder doesn't deserve 50:50 and he is going to stick to 60:40, but I don’t think that is the same thing as saying Wilder needs to get better known before they will offer him a fight.

Joshua did say it, or something extremely similar, it’s on the ifl interview with all the old VHS tapes behind him

    Joshua never said those words.

Hearn implied that Wilder was not a big enough name, which is something you would expect a promoter to say to protect their most prized asset.

Fury who is meant to be a fighter saying such a thing, shows he is a hypocritical coward.
