David Price is back on March 30th against a 27-year old dangerous undefeated british prospect Kash Ali. Ali's best win is arguably from 2015 when he achieved a close decision victory (39-38) over Kamil Sokolowski who got schooled by Price (60-54) late in 2017. Ali has mainly fought 4-rounders, boxrec has this fight scheduled for 10 which could result in an entertaining fight if it goes to the later half.
Surely the main winners are the fans. I'm surprised there's no a belt on the line for a fight of such magnitude. Although likely the WBA will come up with something.
Damn , David Price is the epitome of never give up. He has loss 6 times, all by KO and yet he comes back for more. There will be a BBC special on Price and Khan in the future about TBI in boxing.
I voted Ali by KO. Never seen Ali fight though. I am just used to Price being ko'd. Kind of puts the flaw to people choosing power over chin and other things.
Khan might end up having accumulated quite a few TBI's cause he'd get dinged and then go balls out until he finally got wrecked. Price I highly doubt will ever be in danger of developing a degenerative nerve/brain disease. He never even had the chance to get dinged , is chin was so bad along with his gas tank he just anchored it first solid shot that landed. Never accumulated enough damage. In a way hes lucky his chin and tank are so bad.
Price by KO which moves him into the next stage of the 2nd tier talked up a bit but not that gud tournement.. Looking forward to the final hopefully its against Browne so we can finally get that commonwealth belt match we missed out on a few years ago...
He would be better turning up to a organ donor hospital and getting a new correct sized pair of lungs..
I walked into the gym where I used to train only to see Kash Ali being coached by Tim Witherspoon, sparring Isaac Chamberlain. That was a cool afternoon
I expect Price to blast Kash out. This is a level that Price can easily excel at. It’s important he has some confidence boosting wins so he can continue his career and not turn into a complete journeyman who ends up on a long losing run against prospects. Price is good value and I hope his career can continue and he can make some decent money.
Nervous energy, nothing to do with his air intake lol...He has the nerves of a 3 round amateur novice fighting for the first time..Hes probably used 6 rounds of energy standing stock still waiting for instructions from the ref !
