I get where you're coming from with some of this. Pacman is a bit overrated as a boxer and never stood a chance against Floyd. He just has good crossover appeal because of his style and output. Kovelev - a bit overrated. Got great power and timing but Ward exposed his stamina and ability on the inside. He's finished now. Hatton - yeah agreed. His resume looks good with Floyd and Pacman the only pre-decline losses. But his fan base allowed him to leapfrog a number of fighters who'd have beaten him, in my opinion. He think he was a top 10 type fighter with Champion exposure and fanbase appeal.
AJ - A great athlete with very good power but not a "natural" and I think will get knocked out if he fights Wilder. Parker - very tough man and decent technician. But only a solid B-side. Broner - need I say more ? Historically - Bowe - . Scored a 2-1 victory against Cruiserweight Holyfield, ducked Lewis, got decked by Herbie Hyde twice, then ruined by Gallotta. Tyson - maybe my favourite fighter, but yes also overrated in that people who could stand up to him caused him nightmares Tommy Morrison - the ultimate destroyer of cans. Knocked out by Michael Bentt, smashed by Mercer, folded meekly against Lewis. Wlad - yeah, still an ATG top 10 but talk about him being THE best (as commentators were inclined to do) is nonsense. He can be glad he never fought Lewis. Audley Harrison - OK, a joke entry. But remember this guy gracing the cover of Ring Magazine and getting a 10 fight deal with the BBC? Sheeesh. Career highlights: rivalries with Danny Williams and Michael Sprott
And whats's worse is his fans will call other fighters overrated yet he has one of the weakest resumes of the era for a supposed great fighter.
