His boxrec is a good place to start

    http://boxrec.com/en/boxer/11280

Standout wins: 2x against Jack Britton, 1x against Harry Greb himself, 1x against Mike Gibbons

All of these wins have been avenged. He also fought and lost to Benny Leonard a bunch of times and Mickey Walker 3x

His record isn't standout by any means but that's because of his incredible loss streaks after he fell out of his prime around 1918ish. He was around 90-23-14 in his prime.

His final record being 117-76-27, 220 fights. He fought from late 1911-1925 before returning in '32 for a short comeback. This averages out to about 10 fights a year, good volume. 55 of his fights were against world champions (yeesh).

Imo he just has too little success and too little consistency to be ranked in the top 50 p4p. Even his good wins weren't in a dominant fashion.

In all honesty I didn't know he had 76 losses but his résumé is outstanding, I'm just looking for some footage.
