I think you can make a case for either Loma or Usyk being the P4P number number 1. After that: After that I would say its between: Crawford - yes its weak resume but he still cleared out a divison and has stepped up a divison and become WC. GGG - robbed in both Canelo fights. AJ - 3 world titles and an underrated resume in which he has beaten an ATG, 3 of current top 10 (probably be 4 in June) and a recent former top 10 who has just been made mandatory for the WBC. If Inoue wins the tournament and beats the names he will easily be in the top 5 but I cant do it yet.
Depends if he could pass the slick test or not. FTR, I'm actually a distant cousin of Tyson and I'm also a distant cousin of Bartley ''King of the Gypsies'' Gorman and every man in my breed can fight because we're all real fighting men.
1. Loma (without a question, once a 50 years talent who takes every challange and already beat great fighters in Russell, Walters, Rigo and linares) 2.GGG ( twice robbed against a great fighter in canelo) 3. Canelo ( great fighter with one wide and one close loss to an atg middleweight champ and a great resume) 4. Crawford (great talent but feastet only on mediocre titleholders 5. Usyk (future p4p nr. 1 after he becomes the king of heavys)
Any mix of Loma/Crawford/Usyk/Canelo/Garcia/Inoue/GGG is right on Strongly disagree with anyone putting AJ in there. He is not an elite fighter at all, not even proven to be the best fighter in his division unequivocally.
Interesting, you think Inoue is deserving of such a high spot already? He is amazing but his CV is lacking
Mikey Garcia didn't prove to be the best fighter in any of the divisions he won world titles in. Why does GGG deserve to be P4P#1 , but Joshua doesn't even deserve to be top 10?
With official record : 1- Usyk 2- Canelo 3- Crawford 4- Lomachenko 5- Rungvisai My opinion : 1- Golovkin 2- Usyk 3- Crawford 4- Lomachenko 5- Rungvisai
No idea dude, maybe ask someone who actually has him as their #1. Garcia is a much better boxer than AJ in my eyes. Good enough to be P4P material, despite not having a genuinely elite win (though some good ones).
Whose better than who is subjective. Titles and wins against top ranked opposition isn't subjective which is why that is as good a factor as any when grading guys ranked on the P4P list. Garcia garbing belts in multiple divisions is what gets him on the P4P list , but Broner was also on the P4P list for the same reason. Joshua is currently going through top 10 ranked opposition one after the other and is more P4P caliber than Broner ever was. I think Joshua's run is similar to Bradley's run at 140. It was good enough to get Bradley on the p4p list , Joshua will and definitely should get on with a win over Miller , who is another HW ranked in the Ring top 10.
Loma (Let's be honest, no one around his weight classes beat him) Crawford (Third division that he is now either 1 or 2) Usyk (Beats anyone under HW and probably goes through all but 2 or 3 HWs with minimal problems) Inoue (admitted limited knowledge on him, I don't know a bantam that can beat him) Mikey (He's gonna get destroyed by Spence but from 126-140 I can only think of maybe 4 guys that are competitive with him)
