Are you triggered by elaborate ring entrances, or do you enjoy them?

Meh, sometimes they’re over the top but don’t think too much about them. Not triggered but not exactly enjoy them either.

I'm fine with the entry music (it helps to understand the fighter), buy I don't like theatrical ring entrances.

It's very entertaining. Its about pleasing the crowd and being creative is no knock on the fighter, unless he gets his ass kicked.

Depends on the entrance, they have to enter so may as well make it entertaining

I dont mind it, they can go on a bit long sometimes and when you watch a fight replay and watch somebody coming out to a big elaborate entrance when you know hes about to get KTFO its all a bit cringe. But my problem is with some of the things worn for an entrance, I still think what Wilder wore to walk in for the Fury fight was just ridiculous, what was he a big Crow or something? I laughed all the way to the aprin.

Thanks for the early morning laugh at Uzzy's expense :). Personally, I can't stand these stupid elabarote and lengthy ring walks.

I don't care one way or the other. To me it is usually more elaborate with the ego of the fighter. I just like a simple ring walk and get to the fight.

I find them weird, but it's good - usually we are having pre-fight banter and potentially more into socialising than paying serious attention to the telly, when the ring walks happen we do any bog stops and drink top ups and get comfortable for serious boxing focus. Usually the ring walk gives us enough time to do all that and then we are actually paying proper attention when the ring announcer is doing his thing.

So for us it serves as a heads up that the fight is about to happen, but a time filler for us to get comfortable... whatever happens during them is irrelevant to us but hopefully gives the fighters the gee up they need to pummel someone.

I don't mind the ring entrances. It adds to the anticipation. What I can't stand is the endless ring introductions before the action begins. It's like we have to hear the names of the ref, the judges, the doctors, stretcher bearers, the ringside supervisors, spit bucket holders, etc before finally the fighters are introduced!

depends on the entrance, fighter, event. its really hard to get it right, but when they do, it really adds to the experience.
