GGG will be 37 by the time he has his next fight, do u all think he's still capable of beating top MW's or will he be beaten into retirement?

They say your power is the last to go so I think that bodes well for GGG.

GGG could do very well into his late 30’s with his jab and ring IQ, but in his last fight with Canelo his chin didn’t seem what it used to be.

If he keeps on fighting Zeltar Novitzky level opponents should continue raking in KOs

He is capable of beating every top MW with Jacobs and Canelo being the exception.

He started his pro career much later than most world champions, his level of opposition has been ridiculously easy, and he's only fought 196 rounds.. In contrast to Pacquiao who has fought almost 500, Mayweather who has fought almost 400, and Canelo who has well over 300 rounds under his belt.

I would say GGG is pretty well conserved when you consider all those facts.

based on his top contender MW win over Jacobs, yes, he can narrowly beat top contenders.

With other actual titlists, I would say hes 50:50 as he always has been up to now with the 2 he has faced (1 win ibf lemmy, 1 loss canelo lineal)

Up until his last fight he was still the very best 160er, and his probable coming opponent won't give him much trouble.
Not much chance though he dominates or KO's Alvarez now, so don't think he will reclaim the title at this age.

they r for 3G, he kos HWs in training.

i wonder why they dont simply schedule his fights to be in training halls, then he would unify HW ha. jokes.

but nevertheless i feel he will unify SMW next, no jokes.

It's a good question to ask and as you can see there are differing opinions.

He is, no doubt, physically still capable of beating top MWs. He's either #1 or #2 right now, there is an argument that he won both fights against Canelo (I personally think so although I think Canelo beats him the third time without controversy). Even as he gets older his power will stay around which means he always has a chance, and he's also hard to beat when he goes behind the jab. Witness how Kovalev was able to reclaim a title via boxing smartly instead of going all out for the early kill.

However I am a little concerned about his motivation, if that fails him he could be beaten into retirement. But if he's still motivated I have no doubt he can beat more top MWs.

2 wins over Canelo and wins over Jacobs, Lemieux. Definitely the Middleweight King, but time is not on his side.
