I think Garcia will do well early and may be ahead after 6 but Spence's size and physicality will be too much Spence will keep coming and after round 6 will be like a snowball coming down hill and he will stop Garcia after round 9
As someone has already correctly stated, Brook was causing Spence all kinds of problems early on and up until his eye gave out (I still think Hearn ruined Brook's career by putting him in with GGG at that time). I just got this feeling that this is Mikey's time/his shot at greatness and he will take it. Garcia UD.
Can't believe the amount of people picking Garcia (and I'm a massive Garcia fan) The big red flag with Mikey has always been that he's not really into boxing at all. Has always said when he lost fights as an amateur that he didn't really care. I reckon that hasn't changed. He's fully aware he likely loses this fight and then heads back down in weight where there is a few big fights still waiting for him. Mikey has always been money driven, he's not a guy who cares for the sport itself at all. Also seeing a lot of people justify picking Mikey by saying he chased the fight so "must see something" in Spence that he will capitalize on. He also chased fights with Thurman and Cotto at 147. All completely different styles but one thing in common being they all deliver $$$. This isn't a case of Mikey seeing a weakness in Spence that he thinks he can expose, he knows Spence is a guy who brings money to the table. Pretty clear that the PBC/Showtime see Spence as one of their main poster boys. Fight is in Dallas and Spence is the clear A-Side. Pacquiao is expected to be ringside and its pretty clear they are looking to set up that fight. No better way to set up that fight then have Spence coming in off the momentum of a stoppage win against an unbeaten P4P fighter in Garcia. They know what they're doing. Spence is a massive 147, Mikey a big 135. You could argue there's nearly three weight divisions between them. Mikey is going to need to be near perfect and the mental energy that takes is energy sapping. See Duran v Hagler, SRR v Maxim etc. Smaller guys tend to tire as the rounds go on. i think Mikey starts relatively ok and may even win a round or two before Spence completely takes over. Robert throws in the towel somewhere around round 7.
Reality check is very much needed here. As much as I and others want Mikey to win this, he has absolutely no chance. None.
