This probably says it better than I could.

Mikey is really far beyond Rigondeaux? As that's the best analogy I can think of from Loma's record. A fantastically talented fighter, but didn't have anything for Loma when he tried to step up two weight classes from his natural one.

Mikey's a great little fighter but he was a featherweight five years or so ago. IMO, this fight is a free hit for him. But if Errol blows him out then, unless Mikey goes on to accomplish something at 147 and prove he can hand there, I think history will just regard it as a good big man beating a good little man.

But what do I know ;-)

Can anyone think of any times when it did?

RJJ v Ruiz (though he was hardly elite level)
    Hopkins v Tarver
Pacquiao jumped up three weights to super bantam, but had a few warm up fights before anyone good.
    Anyone else?

If he blasts him out easily, then I'd say top 3 with Crawford and Loma. He's already top 5 or 6.

Good post. IS Spence win, it's a fight he's SUPPOSED to win. HOW that vaults one up a mythical ranking is beyond me.

But in case Garcia beats Spence, he'll become #1.
And if he succesfully continues his climbing through weight divisions, an all time great.

If Spence moves up in weight to beat Canelo at 160 then he'll be ranked #1 P4P without a doubt.

And add Garcia vs Spence to that list.

I wouldn't attribute the win to size. Spence simply figured Mikey out and neutralized him.

Those PBC commentators ha ha ha 'genius, virtuoso, incredible, special, amazing' loooll a big WW backed up by an out of shape LW! It went to script u thick ****s... But I personally was edging that he had a game plan, to make it competitive, he clearly didn't!

LDBC will now try & convince u that this will make him p4p too lol

Sorry, no. Garcia has done nothing at WW & barely anything at LWW. He fought a dumb fight too, stood square on, no jabs hardly & went toe to toe! That's suicide. He's a LW ..

Go back to LW Mikey I'd still love Loma. It wasn't career ending..

Good performance by Spence, gutsy by Garcia but this fight was hugely weighted in Spences favour... If it swung the other way, Spence at 135 who do u think would win? Case closed...

Where is the LDBC outrage??? I heard it non stop after Loma made smaller Rigo quit... ****ing Spence looks like a 154lber!!
