NO WAY the other way around. McCall has faced many better punchers than Rahman without being anywhere near knocked down.... Much less, knocked out.

I'd take off Carnera and Burns. Especially Burns, that man had a cast iron jaw.

To right Bert !The guys chin was made of iron. I still think if he's got his stuff together he'd go the distance with Louis ,Marciano or Ali .

Carnera was dropped by Sharkey,no puncher,Stribling, a french lhvy,11 times by Baer,Haynes a couple of times. He belongs on that list
Really ? He was dropped twice by Squires, dropped by Pelkey, several times by Johnson, and dropped by middleweights.

Every time he landed Carnera went down that does not constitute a good chin ,neither does getting dropped by two lightheavyweights, and soft punching Sharkey!

If he can get up 11 times against Max Baer he can damn sure get up from a hit from McCall

Which. of course, Lewis did which is being conveniently overlooked.

As for getting knocked out by one blow from Rahman then if the lineal champ was nearly 36, had his feet square on, his mouth hanging open, was totally unacclimatised and out of shape and after all that gets hit by that punch, I would suggest we have a long list, gentlemen. You could certainly add Bowe to it - if only he had hung around that long.

Here's a question that should elicit a much shorter list. How many lineal heavyweight champs take flush power shots from Briggs, Klitschko (at age 38), Mercer, Holyfield, Bruno and shrug them off as if they are almost inconsequential? I'll start the ball rolling with one name.

    Lennox Lewis.
