this is standard when its in house fighter vs an outsider Like when they let Dillian Whyte call Lucas Browne a PED cheat all over TV, but cut out Jarrell Millers similar comments about AJ
A warning of elevated levels to a charge 16 months later that resulted in a nothing to see here "punishment". Case was bizarre from start to finish. Not saying he's innocent, but UKAD done an abysmal job of proving him guilty.
Quote of the presser was from Warringtons old man..... All this nonsense about Galahad going not guilty !!!! Michael Jackson got a not guilty but you'd never let him babysit your kids would ya???lol
Warrington's chav fans disgraced themselves in the Selby build-up. I thought Ingle made a fool of them.
By offering one of them a straightener ,taking his jacket off then telling security to keep the guy away? I used to really like Ingle until lately, since he been full of juice his ego has got as fat as his neck
No way...Dom was totally unprofessional and cringey at times. Holding his arm out and saying "talk to the hand" the only person in the room who came across worse was Barry, stuttering whilst trying to answer questions, well the ones Dom allowed him to answer.
I agree actually it was unprofessional rawling didn't put a end to that from the fans. I was a little dissapointed the fans acted like yobs and drunken kids
Galawad looked uncomfortable for most of it, particularly when his ban was mentioned, and so he should. He reassured me what a wee weasel he is when he said he had no remorse. As for Ingle acting like a bit of a knob, he took some of the heat off Galawad in doing so. Wether that was intentional or not, he done Galawad a favour today.
Firstly, there are several reasons to dislike Galahad - the failed drugs test, the carry on with BJS etc. However, the stuff about whether he showed 'remorse' around being a drug cheat is a non point. He has never admitted knowingly taking drugs, so he can't be apologetic or show remorse because technically speaking he doesn't feel he is guilty. Now whether you actually think he is a cheat is another matter! I don't know the details of the case inside out, but based on the failed test and excuse given its difficult to form a defence. On to the press conference today, it was obviously a huge stitch up job. I thought Rawling was very unprofessional. Massive lean towards Warrington, questions such as 'he is awkward' were so disrespectful. The emphasis on the drugs test was as severe as I have seen. Fair enough, he deserves it but as other posters have pointed out there is no consistency with the approach to likes of Fury and BJS. I think Ingle overstepped the mark and he was definitely up for this one from the start. However, I understand he felt he was backing his man. Who knows what has gone on behind the scenes but there was a massive undercurrent to the whole thing. The Sheffield - Leeds thing adds to it. Personally thought Barry was quite composed although he didn't say alot. I am of the opinion that Josh is normally a great interview - interesting, relatively articulate and very likeable. However. I thought he came across poorly today - joined the mob too often and swore too much to win any argument. No comment on Frank Warren, other than he was about as biased as a double sided coin. In fairness I wouldn't expect otherwise. All in all, I am no press conference man - I usually avoid them. However, this was potentially the most interesting one I have ever watched. Gripping stuff from start to finish and made me really want to watch the fight, which I guess is the whole point. Good for fans that its on regular BT as well, especially given the sh*te we are being served up on Sky.
