Tunde begging he wants to maximise earnings and revenue as much as they possibly can stating he wants fight at emirates (won’t happen) and clearly reason he wants fight over here isn’t because of the score cards it’s because the fact they want it over here prime time on ppv.

This is why they never took an even slightly risky fight there waiting for a huge cashout protecting that 0 desperately till it’s as big a money fight as possible.

Truly pathetic and kov will ko this hypejob easy. I hope kov doesn’t approcach the fight like his last fight showing off his boxing skills I want to see the old killer kov the krusher, but either way us fight fans win kov can turn up and systematically pick apart yarde teaching him a boxing lesson and then stopping yarde around mid rounds when yarde gasses out or he can go in and violently ko yarde early.

I said long ago that as soon as Yarde gets given a title shot that they would give it the big’un and then cash themselves out

This fight with Kovalev isn’t happening 100%

Just contradicted yourself there. You're saying he's gonna cash out when he gets a title shot, but won't take the Kovalev fight? Did you mean price himself out?

At The Emirates? I am in a minority and I actually like Yarde, but I can't see how you go from headlining in under capacity venues like The Copper Box and Brentwood Leisure Centre (both of which are pretty much on his doorstep) to main eventing at a large stadium. This would be a lower tier only job at the o2 and even then it wouldn't sell out.

Yarde Kovalev sells out the O2 with a good undercard. It's a huge fight.

I don’t think it does. Kovalev isn’t that big a name here. Yarde last two fights headlined Albert Hall and Brentwood leisure centre, neither of which sold out.

Don’t get me wrong I think if they pushed it, it would do fairly well at the o2 and that’s the venue I’d personally be aiming for myself, but the emirates?! Dream on.

The sooner Yarde leaves Tunde the better. The lads career is in the wrong hands.

Kovalev is a big name, but not to the UK casuals required to sell out stadiums. Had Yarde been involved in a decent level British fight or two it would stand more of a chance of creating bigger hype.

Reality is, we may as well stop discussing it because it is not going to be happening.

Who is this “old killer Kov” you speak of? (Don’t mention the death). The man who couldn’t get rid of a man in his 50th year, a man who laboured against chilemba, a man who got knocked down and perhaps beat by Darnell Boone? A man who’s best win is probably Alvarez who previously stopped him?

Most overrated athlete of the past 10 years. Scrap that, he is second behind cristiano ronaldo.

Yup, BT will never have a huge fight (numbers wise) outside of possibly Fury.

But this is a fight I’d LOVE to see.
