Gorman was scheduled to fight Maldonado, but he pulled out. Kingpin steps in as replacement for March 23.

It would be awesome if Gorman stops the man Dubois couldn't right after Dubois stopped the man Gorman couldn't ;)

Nate Gorman will give it a go, but Kevin Johnson will do what Kevin Johnson is wont to do -- to wit, minimal punch output, spoiling, laying back on the ropes and generally old-manning his way towards hearing the final bell.

That Brazilian guy was a can crusher.
Kingpin could be even better competition and maybe learn Gorman some dirty tricks.

Actually he is. You know he's a terrible watch, throws occassionally some perfect jabs, but further no offense at all and still.. You've got to respect him. He went in the ring with Vitali, Fury, Joshua, Dubois, Hrgovic, Pulev, Chisora, Ruiz Jr and went the distance with all of them except Joshua... He got stopped by Milas as well but that was an eye injury / cut.

If I was a promotor of a talented upcoming boxer, I would surely invite Kevin Johnson to his training camp. The man has seen it all and can teach those young guns still a thing or two.

Not bad, Jonshon is upgrade from Maldanado but Maldanado wasn't bad at all as a opponent. I think he will do better than Dubois in this fight.

Now watch Gorman KO him in two, completely discombobulating and wrecking the narrative of all the casuals who think that Dubois beats Gorman because Gorman went the distance with Cojanu.

I've always thought Gorman would absolutely tool Dubois, and what I've seen of Dubois has done nothing to alter that view.
