This will be a tedious and one sided fight.

I'm a huge fan of The Furious One, but nobody at this point should be expecting his next fight to be a tough matchup. It'll be a non-puncher whose sole function is to get clowned. No risks are to be taken before a wilder rematch.

Will be a boring one-sided fight but I don’t blame fury, if he’s getting lots of money then good luck to him! I never believed all that “not doing this for money” , only an idiot would!

With a bit of effort mate they could've got someone with more of a name, someone fans could identify a bit, this is just another Fury match up before a big fight agreed, but he went a bit too far down the list choosing this lad !

Schwarz is a similar enough level to Jarrell Miller, I don't like either fight but it is what it is.

Totally agree. Pointless fight and sums up the state of HW boxing at the moment - lots of potential good fights but the myriad of promoters/managers/trainers and the boxers themselves seeming doing all they can give the fans what they don't want.

I think Fury knows what it takes to get to the level to beat a Klitchko or almost Wilder, and I think he does not have confidence that he can get up to superfight level each time out so he fights a lower level to adjust to the higher level later. Almost like a fighter who maybe does not train and almost has a loss so he can prove he can come back.He does not want an intense career of tough fights every time out like Manny, although heavyweights usually are not as tough as the lighter weight guys. Fury will wait for the Joshua/Wilder fight to develop and see the winner and then go from there. He probably want Joshua so he can fight him and beat him,and that will give him the era over the 3 guys Klitchko,Wilder and Joshua. Not a bad resume if that happens. I think Fury is pacing himself mentally, and we cannot insult him for it. He might know that this is the way he has to have it. Look what happened to Hagler when he fought Hearns, then Mugabi and Leonard. 3 tough fights in a row and he was out of boxing. I think Marvin was mentally done after Hearns.

Exactly my thoughts. He can rise to the occasion but he can't stay there for long. Just doesn't have the discipline.
