    Hello there ,

So glad I came across this topic , really helpful info.
I would like to also take the chance and seek an advice.
    Small breakdown about myself:
I am 25 y.o leaving in London for the last 5 years originally from Eastern Europe.
Been a professional wrestler in the past but for the last 5 years I am in love with boxing.
I went to work through a range of different industries like Real Estate ; Hospitality .
I was progressing but did not feel like that’s what I want to do .
Having connections in the youth sport schools back home (Ukraine;Moldova) ,
I’ve decided that box manager is the type of job in perfect balance with my life aspirations.
Currently I am in the process of applying for a trainer license which I have to hold for 3 years before I can apply for manager license.
Before then I would like to polish my self with experience and knowledge.
Was wondering if you can give me an advice regarding what path should I take ?
Should I start working in some sort of media company or start in recruitment ?
Is there a company you can recommend ?

Working in big companies I’ve experienced on my own skin that it could be difficult to gain a wide range of experience and skills working in such format.
So I just want to invest my time and energy in the most efficient way.

I would like to mention that I am very hard working and open to sacrifice of any range.
Also I am willing to work for free.

Appreciate if you can share your opinion.

    Best regards,
    Chris

I'm back. Lost track of this post but I'm officially in the game as a manager. Started my LLC (Prime Time Players Boxing Management) last month. Anyone heard from Dempsey lately?

Been in touch with a bantamweight from Michigan for about a month and a half. I will try to contact him again. Last spoke with him last week. I think he has what takes to get to the next level. Just needs some frequent fights.

Spoke to a welterweight's trainer about managing his career too within this span. This cat is out of Florida and his trainer has multiple fighters that he trains and manage so it's hard to catch up with him. Still going to try though.

In the meantime I will continue to seek out more talent. This is how things have been going for the past 3 months. Just wanted to keep you all updated.

Where Im from the State Athletic Commission is tough on certain bouts. For example Ive seen them turn down a bout where a guy was 2-9 and the other guy was 8-0, they said you have to find someone with a 500 record in order to make the bout. HOWEVER if you upset a prospect the phone will be ringing
    -
Commissions might not agree and I know situations when event's promoter had refused to place such fights on fight night card.
Example: 8-0-0 prospect vs 1-2 guy ( 2 fights lost via stoppage ) for 8 round :Dfight. Damn.
Prospects managers and promoters ofc are happy to feed boxing bags in row to increase prospects KO wins number even if opponents are walking boxing bags. While if event's promoter should pay like for scheduled 8 rounder for fight where bag must be finished in 4 rounds, it is pure nonsense. Unless someone will invest $ here.
