Go on any social media or forum and look at the reaction of people that actually watched the card, it was great entertainment

It weren’t great entertainment there was one good fight on it and every single home fighter won. If you would have put £100 bet on all the fights you would’ve won £17.

It’s probably a 2/10 on paper but exceeded expectations and shot up to a 5/6 at best.

Matchroom was a 3 on paper and lived up to exactly that.

bt card challanger fight really competitve but featherfisted.. maxwell fight class my fav domestic fight this year amazing ending, gorman fight was shite boring ruined the amostphere, and the bowen was good, his opponent was decent tried but was dirty. the overall card much better 7/10

Ritson - Benitez okay fight , judges terrible once again

    Okolie - Camacho - Terrible

Buatsi - Conroy - Buatsi was levels above

Shannon Courtenay vs Random cleaning lass - what the **** was this ?, embarrasing

Edwards vs Spaniard - borrrrrrrrr-ring, felt like i was watching the same round over and over and over and over - "yelp"

    1/10 from me

Eddie is totally shafting Sky and all its viewers.

I enjoyed jumping between the 2 cards. The BT one was the more enjoyable card but it was good to see the progression of Buatsi and Okolie on the Matchroom card. The Gorman fight was dreadful. How Johnson gets work is beyond me...there’s nothing to be learnt from fighting him. He makes you look terrible because you can’t put him away. I would back AJ or Wilder potentially stopping him but even then I could see it going plenty of rounds. Very ugly style.

Yes. It doesn’t work like that. You can’t have it both ways.

If you’re happy with shows at midlands area level and calling them 7/10’s then don’t wander why the likes of Dillian Whyte are PPV.

So far the years been **** poor.boxing is a fantastic sport in a league of its own that is constantly let down by underwhelming bouts & fighter protection.need a bit of quality back in the sport

A 12-0 AJ utterly destroyed him in two rounds four years ago.

Ha, fair point. I genuinely forgot about that. I actually think he tries to survive more now, hardly throws a shot and just tucks up.

    Perhaps.

I think at the time the lesson for AJ was either going to be proving he could do what nobody had done before and just bomb Johnson out like he did to everyone at that stage. Or he was going to get rounds in. Obviously the former happened. It was a weird fight actually because notoriously bad early-stopper Ian John Lewis let Johnson out for the second round when he really shouldn't. I'm sure I remember Jim Watt doing the full repertoire; his legs have gone, he needs saving from himself, they should be stopping this, he's throwing nothing back, his legs have gone (reprise), he really should be having a closer look here, this is starting to become uncomfortable viewing. All the classics.

I agree to an extent that I wonder how he gets work. I think if you were promoting them you'd want the likes of Gorman and Dubois to just destroy him early; the task is finding out, and quickly, how to beat a cagey guy like him. But if it goes the distance you're really not going to do yourself any favours.

So you don't enjoy good fights because they are beneath you? Get off your high horse mate, I would prefer watching 100 competitive Midlands area level fights than one of Hearns can crusher shows.
