I've never known someone talk so much about being a "fighting man", yet has TWO great names on his resume.

Tyson has been a pro for nigh-on 10 years now, yet has only faced "the man" twice.

His momentum after the Wilder fight is on a different level, yet he faces some absolute no-mark and potentially kills any chance of fighting a top dog for a while.

The top 3 are all as bad as each other.

    AJ is fighting a nobody
Wilder is fighting someone AJ beat years ago
    Fury is fighting a nobody

But the one with the most mouth is Tyson, simple as. Yet he pulls a move like this.

He is cashing-out big time, IMHO. No way does he fancy a rematch or a shot at AJ.

    His bum-run continues...

Certainly a very disappointing fight. I understand Fury not rematching Wilder straight away for many reasons but surely he could at least get a top 20 opponent with some sort of pedigree. He's levels above most HWs skill wise . Not sure what the point of fighting this nomark is and how they think they'll make any money from this.

Think its unfair to knock AJ, hes been in with much better guys than either wilder or fury.

Miller is superior to Brezeale and Schwarz.

Think you're a little harsh on Fury. When he was coming up there was only really Wlad and he had to wait his turn. He signed up twice to fight Haye. You could say he ducked Price though!

Listen you guys need to relax about Fury. He is essentially having another tune up fight against Schwarz and will be back in amongst the big fights after.

He boxed Wilder at a time when most people on here thought he wasn’t physically ready on US soil and schooled the **** out of him. Most people thought he was “cashing out”. Just let it all unfold. If by the this time next year he still hasn’t had a “big” fight then by all means criticise him.

Define big fight. Give us 5 names who would be acceptable as Fury’s next opponent.

Yeah, a pro for 10 years. But let's take a closer look.
He was just out for a couple of years being a retired obese mental case. So that's 8 years active.
Haye pulled out twice costing him about a year. Haye was a top fighter he tried to fight btw. That's 7 years.
The first years are always a journeyman, development period.
He's had a handful of years to fight 'top names' and the Klitschko situation would have taken over a year of that even for two fights.
    So it's not that bad.

Also barring in mind Parker and Povetkin were ranked higher when AJ beat them (think both were ranked 3 at the time AJ fought each).
