If anyone really thinks Golovkin would stop Eubank you are living in a dreamland. I've said it before and I'll keep saying it: Nobody from 160-175 will stop Eubank Jr. The guy can't be knocked out. It baffles me that people still can't understand the extent of his durability.
seeing as hes only faced 2 dangerous opponents, thats a bold claim. He has inherited some chin though, clearly.
I would like to see this fight. For Eubank a win would be huge and put him right in the mix, where he believes he belongs. Obviously not the favorite but will take some beating.
Why would GGG fight Eubank who has done nothing at world level and been outclassed each time he's stepped up ?
I actually think Eubank would trouble Canelo more than GGG. CEJ needs a year or so with Vasquez first though, should get some exposure in the US first.....would like him V Charlo at middle.
Not sure if srs, Eubank is better and a bigger name than than 90% of GGG's former opponents and has just beaten a former world champion.
theres no way 3G will face brit levels like eubank or bum club like kermit wbu guy, not now he has moved up to facing elite. if this happened, it would be only a warm-up - and just think...3G's warm up these days would then be a semi finalist of wbbss!!
I actually would like this fight if its at 160. - I think its a fun fight. - Its not a bad name for a 'comeback' fight for Golovkin. - Will go a long ways towards showing where G is at right now. I think it makes sense, would be fun, and a good barometer to gauge what G has left right now. While Im sure he probably wins... I dont think he deals with Jr as well as many thinks he does. Id be downright suprised if Golovkin could stop him at this stage. Make the fight.
