Bivol beat Chilemba by not the best performance in the world. He will likley face Yarde next by the looks of it. Yarde will have a tune up before.

“I saw their fights and I can confidently tell you that when I get my opportunity, I will dethrone both Bivol and Alvarez,” said Salamov. “I am the best light heavyweight in the world and look forward to proving it to the boxing fans by fighting the best!”

“After his US debut in June, I am very confident that it’s just a matter of time before he wins a World light Heavyweight title,” said his co-promoter, Dmitriy Salita (along with Kazbek Aslambekov of KA-Promotions). “At only 24 years old, and with the amount of talent and experience he has, the sky is the limit for Umar in the light heavyweight division.”

Salamov is currently training in Detroit at the Kronk Boxing Gym. His next fight will be announced shortly

I never saw Salamov fight, and I understand fighters hyping themselves, but I just looked at boxrec and... He really should work himself into relevance and then we'll see.

I ahve seen his fights. I think he is capable of winning title, technicly he looks strong and has improves with time, so he could be in contention after some time.

Mike Lee, Ali Akhmedov, Umar Salamov, Erik Baziyan and Marcus Browne are exciting prospects to look forward to.

I've got Willy Hutchinson over Ali Akhmedov , and @IntentionalButt willl find out who's the better talent in years to come

Hutchinson, younger, more potential, better amateur, better trainer. Hutchinson is an Irish traveller , and everyone knows they are tough as **** and can really fight.
