noone knows the geography of every country, it was my bad. historically they did border, but not today.
your content thats nothing about 3G is going well in a 3G thread? ok, you have an irrelevant win then, I guess it whats you got to flaunt. Meanwhile we others carry on with the relevant stuff.
You don't seem to like GGG very much. He's a great fighter who lost a very close rematch with another great fighter. You should probably chill out a bit.
You have this upside down, dont take it personally, friend. I am clearly saying there is some reason EXTRINSIC to 3G, nothing to do with him personally, that led to his struggles in his last two opponents (if we ignore stand-in vanes because that bumkill, though it does prove that its the same 3G we always had). I am saying we need to look for a reason OUTSIDE the great 3G - trainers, diet, cooks etc. that is common to facing both Canelo ad Jacobs. Or do you tihnk the opposite to me, that fault lies WITH 3G? Let me know if you do.
The title of the thread is "the 2nd time he FACED a top guy" When was the first time? When was the second time?
Danny Jacobs and Canelo are both really good fighters. There's no shame in having close fights with really good fighters. Take it easy bro x
its obviously a mixture of being past his prime and also not the p4p great that some people make him out to be. He was good but he was and is not great. He didnt even move up in weight and that has to be one of the main criteria when discussing p4p ness.
Correct, it should be 2nd time he faced any individual top guy, thank you for pointing that out. I feel there is some conspiracy at large, perhaps in 3Gs team, that led to him losing his titles, or otherwise how else did he lose them with his 2nd step up ever?
a little past prime for the canelo fight perhaps, but he should still be enough! no i refuse to believe it is INTRINSIC to 3G - because the evidence that he easily bum killed Vanes as if he was still in his 20s shows that not to be true. There is an external, insidious facotr that we have not yet spotted. I am certain of it.
yes but losing!! I cannot believe it just simply happened in his 2nd man to be a top guy. though arguablyitis his 3rd cos lemmywas champ too.
Hi Herol Gree! Saul Canelo Alvarez is one the biggest start in boxers and it's difficult to see him losing in near future. He is the real deal and very special talent. Thats being said, something like 80% of the boxing community thinks Golovkin beat him twice. Those were some very high class fights when two elite fighters meets in the ring. If you ''lose'' against Canelo, it is not valid point if its your second or 20 title defence. So don't worry, Golovkin is still a great fighter but **** happens. So let me tell you, it's all about politics and Golden boy. That's nice you found boxing and I hope you will have a great time with us. Just keep on asking questions whenever you feel confused! Cheers!
lets be honest no one is going to remember GGG, canelo and Jacobs as greats. They were all good elite fighters and thats it.
