Good performance but Clenelo was giving away a lot of weight to Floyd in that fight This content is protected
So masterful there are zero rounds you can argue PBF clearly lost. Zero. (and conversely, several that he clearly won)
I just started getting into Floyd's fighting in the past couple of years. He might have been up there with Sugar Ray (I mean Robinson, and I love both SRR and Leonard)
So what you're trying to say is that most of the rounds in the bout were toss up swing rounds then huh ? When all but 1 of the rounds in a bout are so tight they could be scored either way, well you do the math. As far as number of rounds won clearly, the only round that Floyd won clearly was round 7. The other 11 rounds were tight enough to be debated. I thought Canelo won rounds 3, 4 and 10 pretty clearly, not as clearly as Floyd won round 7 but clear enough if you weren't watching the fight with TMT goggles on. I find it amazing how obsessed and deluded this forum is with this bout and how many posters continue to claim that I had the fight a draw, when I've never made that argument lol. In reality Floyd won only a single round clearly (round 7), and the rest were tight and debatable. Rounds 1, 8 and 9 Floyd may have barely won by the skin of his teeth. Rounds 3, 4, 10 were strong Canelo rounds. Rounds 2,5,6 you have to really split hairs. (6 was dead even) 12 there wasn't much action because Floyd was running away like a scaredy cat, and Canelo landed the better shots. Floyd barely eeked that fight out by maybe a point or two, in a fight pretty much rigged for him to win lol. Canelo took Floyd to his absolute limit like no one ever before. Floyd was so beat up after fighting Canelo that he needed extensive physical therapy, and refused to give the man a rematch. Floyd eeked one out but Canelo won the war by forfeit.
