Eggington gets smashed by Smith fast!

I was struggling to watch the eggington fight. Felt sorry for the kid. You could see Smith was super uncomfortable doing that

No, I'm sorry but I still don't see why he needed such a brutal summary of him on here going into this fight, he's a likeable guy that had been in a number of entertaining fights and the only reason he got into the pro game was because he needed to make more money than his delivery job was giving him to support his family and live a better life. He comes across as a nice bloke and I felt sorry for him being fed to Smith like that, so soon after his first KO defeat.

In many ways you were of course right about him, but there's ways of saying it and I don't think ripping into him like that was at all necessary. Just my opinion of course and we're all free to air our views on here, I like Eggington though and I hope he can go back to the drawing board, maybe drop down a weight and go again, there could be some good fights for him still at 147lbs.

 

Seems a lovely lad mate but he’s going to end up with life long cognitive issues if he continues to be thrown in the deep end in terms of levels. There’s a reason he went up a division which people including Macklin seem to be forgetting. He had absolutely no pop against Mimoune. He was drained and was struggling through the rounds. He doesn’t have anywhere to go now, what he’s achieved his absolutely brilliant but he should walk away from the sport now imo.
