Always liked Fitzgerald since the commonwealths and I wondered for years why he’s barely making the first fight on Hearsn tv line up whilst the likes of Eggingnton and Benn are virtually headlining. I can assure yous very few in crowd even neutral was spotting his great work tonight. Glad Fowler got beat, too big for his boots these days. Well in the so called lemonade **** head beating the supreme athlete. Happy days, would like to see that agiAin.
Its hilarious that even after the fight Hearn didnt even mention Fitzgerald, he just banged on about how Fowler will be back and still have a great career
I said the exact same thing to my mate. This is why there should be no monopoly because Scott should be able to say **** you after that but if he wants to earn he has to stay with that slimy so and so. Wrong mate.
In the interview I saw he seemed high on Fitzgerald and said he would be a big star, mentioning how he sold a thousand tickets etc. Hearn will be all over Fitzgerald now, you know what he's like. Bringing big time boxing to Preston before you know it!

Fowler came across really badly at the press conference, but his ridiculous pearly white smile on the ringwalk was the final straw for me. Flat-track bully.
Glad Fitzgerald won, was impressed with him. A lot of Fowler’s shots were being blocked/slipped and I felt he was often taking one to land one. Was a good fight but the right man won. Would like to see it again but later on in both’s careers. No point in taking years off each other when it could be even bigger down the line. Glad they embraced at the end after the needle. Fowler is still a decent fighter but he’s nowhere near as good as he thought he was.
Was really impressed with Fitzgerald and how he fought,calm all the way through Fowler didn't back up his chat about how he wasn't gonna embarrass him & slap him about did he...he talked about Fitzgerald bottling it at the presser after all he said on twitter,but he must've forgot the fighting is what mattered most Never been so pleased about a win in a long time
Hearn’s face when fowler got knocked down was a picture.. and to think he’s meant to promote both fighters... embarrassing how Fowler said it was a flash knock down because he switched off for a second too, Fitz hit him with two left hooks that completely stunned him. Nothing to do with fowler switching off in the slightest
