Rigo's still a Boogeyman in terms of his grotesque face, but is he still one in boxing terms after Lomachenko undressed him and had him quitting on his stool in only a foul stained codpiece?
He was never that good and overrated. Loma literally outboxed him so bad. It wasn't even a size issue, Loma was a bigger guy and was faster than the smaller guy!
I love going back and searching through the Rigo Revisionists pre-Loma vs Rigo posts. I can honestly say I've never seen so much shameless revisionism in my life. It really is comical seeing what they were saying beforehand and comparing it to what they had to say after Loma harvested their boy's soul and sold it to a soul collector on the island of Crete BTW, here's the box said soul collector keeps Rigo's soul locked away in. Who didn't see a loss as the end result? I gave Rigondeaux as much of a chance to win as I would any other boxer attempting to fight the best boxer 2 divisions north of his campaigning division.
I think Rigo is still an elite boxer. In his come back match, he was still showing that he is not a boxer that anyone can mess with. Despite of his age, I think he is still a formiddable opponent should he challenge the lower weight class champions like Santa Cruz. But yes, I think Loma ripped his soul apart. It took him two years to be himself again and regain his confidence back. I'm glad he is back now. In his last interview, he said it clearly as a real gentlement that he lost to a better sportsman.
I fully admit I thought Rigo would be a very dangerous fight for Lomachenko, even having moments of favoring him on an injury possibility. Rigo breaks who he hits. Just never hit Loma. **** happens. Can't wait to see him fight again.
Yeah but you're an elite poster and you're not one of these Rigo Revisionists who said one thing beforehand and then lied through their teeth like a dirty dog afterwards acting like the words they said came out of someone else's mouth lol.
