I love Adam but his defense is garbage, he has a great chin but that will be cracked as soon as he faces Wilder, AJ or Whyte

Kownacki vs Martin 2. About as good as it gets for Kownacki.

Adam is a guy who knows what he can do and what he can't do and he would brutally KO the likes of Miller and Breazeale.

Rubbish Fury has a great personality. Boxing needs both in a fighter.

Only if he doesn't KTFO those three first. The three giants haven't faced real competition yet. They made names by defeating over 39 years old ex-champs with their size, age and reach advantage.

If the division were rich with young, skilled & powerful boxers like Holyfield, Tyson, Lewis, Ibragimov, Chagaev, young Povetkin, young Klitschkos we would see a different film.

Are you serious? Kownacki wiped the floor with Martin in that 10th round. It's on Youtube, go ahead and watch it again.

I don't think Kownacki will dominate the division, but I do want to see him in big fights. A banger who's very hittable, but has a good chin. He's entertainment value at least.

Naah, I really don’t see him rule the division. A shame really, as he is very entertaining. Powerful, reasonable skillful (at least offensively) and has a pretty good chin. I like his punch output aswell.

Put, he is too open and too small for the big guys. To overcome that gulf in size, you will need a combination of ring IQ, speed, defence and power. Kownacki got the power, but what else?

He might pick up a strap some day, and claim the right to call himself “champion”. But I don’t believe he will rule the division.

The Martin fight pretty much exposed Kownacki's level. He'll do OK at the lower level, beating some top 20 guys but you throw him in deeper vs genuine top 10 guys and he'll get beaten.

He's too easy to hit, though he seems to have a solid enough chin. He's lacking the professionalism to show up in good shape, the best he's looked was vs Szpilka when he was lighter, the performances since he's looked less impressive as his weight has increased.

Usyk, Hrgovic, Kownacki, Gassiev, Sirenko, Makhmudov, Dychko, Jalolov, Teslenko, Zakhozhyi, Romanov, Kuzmin, Plechko, Milas, Miljas, Suslenkov, Aliev, & Povetkin, and Pulev have a couple of years left

EE's will be the strongest force in the coming years at HW unfortunately for you (alongside the Brits)

Kownacki will have a strong 3-5 years at the top, he's a huge puncher, fast, exciting, attacking.

Like Provodnikov, Rios and types like that, he doesn't have a style that will have longetiivity, but he could make some serious noise for a few years- make no mistake about that. He'd probably KO Wilder and Whyte.

I love watching Kownacki, but his defense is dreadful. The fact that he couldn't drop or stop Martin and ate a lot of shots from the plodding, slow Martin, showed Adam's ceiling. Martin hit him with rear uppercuts over and over. If Martin had any jab at all, he could have landed the straight left at will also. Kownacki will be iced by a HW with power, who can counterpunch at all, because he's all offense, all the time. He really needs to hire a real S&C coach too. It would help with his hand speed and power, and put a little more snap on his shots, which he tends to push. Dude has a lot of heart and is fun to watch though.
