Kell is currently in training camp with the view to returning on the AJ-Big Baby undercard. Does anybody know who the opponent is likely to be?

It needs to be someone good! If it isn’t then his career is pretty much done

He's trying to mark time before he tries to resurrect the Khan fight.

if Khan wins he will go to 154 and the opponent will be in the that region. As this will kill the fight due to rematch clause AND khan said he will not fight Brook as he will offer him nothing as he have to rematch crawford and then wants another shot at a 147 title.
If Khan loses that opens up the Khan fight again and it be a catch weight fight around 150-152 in June.

So it really depends what happens in the khan vs crawford fight as Eddie confirmed.

Khan will never fight Brook imho. Brook needs to chase a title fight at 154 or hang them up now!! Really hope he vca win another world title before retiring tho.

It's an embarrassing end to Brook's career. He's virtually a nobody now, in UK boxing.

Brook needs a good opposition to put himself in the shop window.

Is his heart still in it?

No. Brook just wants a final payday as soon as you just start looking for that first and a challenge second it's game over.

He has so much potential but wasted it imo. Still he paid off his mortgage and thats what real fans care about.

Vargas is fight Soto on 26th April so it wont be him. I think he will fight a tick over fight on the AJ card against someone like Frank Galarza, Mark DeLuca or Thomas Dulorme. He is then in a position that he has two options get the Khan fight after he loses to Crawford or he is Jarrett Hurd's mandatory so he may see if Hearn takes that to purse bids to get a big payday in the US on DAZN. Failing that it would not surprise me that he tries to go the WBC route later this year in a final eliminator vs Sergio Garcia for the Charlo/Harrison winner. Which is actually a winnable fight for him.

Brook is in a mess and I don’t think Eddie knows what to do with him. Whether he fights on this card will probably depend on what happens with Khan next week.

If Amir can somehow avoid getting splattered by Crawford and maybe lose respectfully on points and wants to fight on, then I’m sure Brook will ask Eddie to make the fight at all costs and he won’t risk fighting before that.

Maybe there should be a £29.99 PPV Prizefighter Lastgen Special promoted as 'Has Beens and Never Beens' to finish off a few careers at the York Hall starring Shell Brook, Sam the Egg, Frankie Gavin, Bradley Skeete, Skippy Burns, Tyrone Nurse, Luke Campbell and Tommy Coyle.

His heart isn’t in it and hasn’t been since Golovkin. He still thinks Khan is going to fight him. How much more evidence does he need that that fight is never going to happen? Isn’t he Hurds mandatory now? Have one last crack at a title then call it a day.
