Keep it under your hat Marty but he is in secret negotiations to fight Golovkin as chief support the Canelo_Jacobs undercard. It's all very busy hush at this stage. The only thing holding it up apparently is Luke's unreasonable demands about who ringwalks first.....
See the calendar regarding my previous post ^. Cummings and Barnes have not succeeded in making the am to pro transition work for them. What should they do?
Barnes is a big enough name that he can still get some big domestic fights. Needs to move back down in weight though. Don't think he'll ever be out of options. Cummings has a long way back. Not a big enough name to really bring anything to the table. Maybe he should look to get the rematch with Meli and if he could sneak that he could try get some momentum going again.
I still think Barnes has ability, he might be able to get some good wins. Cummings I'm not so sure about....
Thanks very much still loads of improvements to make but never felt fitter or as fresh solid ten rounds in bank no injuries, I’ll ease back into training next week. Completely switched on no distractions and buzzing get back gym make adjustments needed for next step up in level. Hopefully likes of Rosado fight can still be made. Heard Sulecki who beat him is fighting Andrade so maybe the WBO intercontinental they fought for is available be nice step up.
Everything appears positive, looking forward to watching more progression ftom you in the near future. Keep up the good work Luke.
Message from Dennis Hogan promoters DDP " DAZN streaming own the TV rights and have decided to deal with broadcasters in Ireland directly. We have given them solutions , but its their dec as they own the rights. We have pushed DAZN as our goal is to get the fight shown in Dennis home country but there is only so much we can do . "
Could anyone tell me where to ger a copy of Andy Lee's book? I've been having trouble sleeping lately....
Is anybody prepared to say they think Hogan will win? I'm stressed and overworked and I could badly do with a good laugh....
I think you're selling him short. He's well prepared & should give a good account of himself. I saw his last fight & he was pushed hard early against a guy who was a lot better than his record suggested. So he's been active against decent opposition. That's a good thing. He has also had good sparring in Australia (Jeff Horn) preparing for the fight & has been over in Los Angeles for the last couple of weeks to finish things off. Mexican Mungo in Mexico is a tough ask but I think Hogan has prepared as well as anyone could. He should do well.
