    Anyone watch that fight recently? I always thought Hatton did pretty well and had the right style to beat Floyd. Things went bad for him after what I thought was a bogus point deduction.
    Agree or disagree?
    Also does anyone have any idea why they fought with 10 oz gloves?

    Hatton got knocked out cold against pillow fisted Mayweather, and then he managed to survive 2 rounds against Pacquiao

    Tipical overrated English fighter

    Saw him in Thailand few month before. Fat midget.

    Extremely underrated performance. Hatton was actually doing great from start to finish. I, as a Floyd fan, was genuinely worried during this fight. It truly saddens me how people forget how courageous and dangerous Hatton was in this fight and he how he boldly took on two #1 P4P fighters and gave one of them hell. There is no way in hell ANY Mayweather fan would say they weren’t worried during this fight.

    I remember getting RBR from eze during this fight. Good times.

    He fought a very game performance and made Floyd work for the win in what was a more entertaining fight for Floyd.

    I thought his fast feet and ability to close the gap was what made it an interesting fight

    ultimately he isnt a very versatile fighter and Floyd was able to win on the inside and wear Hatton down.

    unlike a lot of Floyd opponents who are content to survive Hatton went out on his shield

    It was an interesting fight for about 3 rounds...

    Very underrated KO by Mayweather though.....I've never seen a guy get KOd by a turnbuckle before

    Underrated clinic no doubt. PBF barely trained for that fight he was doing that Dancing With the Stars show at the same time. He beat Hatton at his own game and made him dance with the ring post.

    Cortez was paid off for that. FM had Hatton beat fair and square in that way he does, on the fly working out, but Cortez would not let Ricky near him at close quarters at any point.

    Now, let me be clear, FM would have beaten Hatton if O'Connell was reffing, but Cortez was shameful that fight.

    As other have said, you can never fault for Hatton for heart, and he didn't come up short in that dept in this fight. A lot of people were real salty over the Kostya win a few years before still.
