What about Whyte ducking Povetkin. World of boxing promoter has confirmed Whyte refused that fight. He's a ducker with a big mouth.
Was that before or after Whyte was sprawled out lifeless on the ropes? I guess I missed the bit you described!
Share the link then if Whyte ducked Povetkin. Whyte called Povetkin out face to face on live TV infront of Millions of people, it's on youtube. Why would he duck someone that he called out so publicly????? Do you ever use your brain, or full time ******?
Follow world of boxing on instagram where they state Whyte was offered a fight with Povetkin but as per usual Whyte said no
Dillian just needs to be a little bit more humble, If he wants that Deontay Wilder payday. The bomb squad haven't been happy how he's conducted himself. He needs to rematch Parker, and KO him. And fight grandpa Ortiz afterwards. Or Derek Chisora and Kownacki will be getting next 2 title shots.
A little over a year ago I had a pretty low opinion of Whyte, but his last three or four fights have really changed my opinion to the point where I'd consider him a live threat to Wilder. The improvements he's shown, both technically and tactically, have been tremendous, and while I wouldn't put him on Fury's or Joshua's level, I think he's way more of a handful for both those two than almost anyone out there right now. Wilder might still spark him out if he can land clean, but Whyte is learning to box behind the jab much more effectively nowadays, and his defence, while not brilliant, is a lot better than it used to be. Wilder's shown he can be out jabbed by mediocre guys like Washington, and made to look foolish by the likes of Szpilka, and the thing which has bailed him out in the past has been his power. Against Whyte I think he'd struggle to land his money shot due to the rhythm breaking Whyte would employ with his jab and movement, and find himself getting punched to the body when he's not expecting it. It's a fight with a lot of variables, and good arguments to be made for either side. I'd pick Wilder right now, but if he looks poor against Breazeale then I might consider shifting my position.
Whyte gives Wilder kittens. Whyte has serious ringsmarts, is strong as a bull and is punishing with the body assault. I'd love to see that fight.
You'd have to be insane to think Medicare/Medicaid/Social security collecting dinosaur like Ortiz poses any threat to prime beast like Whyte. Of course Ortiz priced himself out.

I like Whyte, he's got an easy, natural, kind of what you see is what you get air about him. He's got a reputation as a hothead but he also seems quick to laugh which is a nice quality to have. The most admirable thing about him is that he's continuing to improve fight by fight. There's only AJ and Fury who I'd be confident on putting money on against him. Add Usyk to that group if he adapts to the weight.
