When AJ faces Miller in June it'll be the longest layoff of his career to date, 9 months, will that effect AJ, maybe he'll show some rust? Remember the fight was supposed to be April 13 at Wembley
Depends how his sparring goes ,his style does require to be on point . One flaw has been his sparring which is not the best selection for who his opponents have been ,his recent Povetkin fight was a perfect example of zero guys who help him with that style and frame . Its something his camp have to really take more seriously bc it could impact AJ's performances. Will most likely be just more rounds ,Miller is also very tall at 6'4 ,so he will have a better feel then a Povetkin or Takam here anyway who are very short HW's for Joshua.
Could be an upset, overconfident Joshua after a long layoff fighting a young hungry lion. Povetkin, Takam and Wlad were old. Breazeale is mediocre and Miller can perform much better then him. If he can take AJs shots and take him into deep rounds we could see an upset.
He's living the life, is hungry and frustrated. And physically prime. I don't expect to see any rust. I expect to see another improved performance. My only worry for him is if he gets emotionally involved (like he he did in the whyte fight). If this happens then he might start fighting off-plan, meaning he may swing more miss and gas, or get clipped. That's my only concern for him if you can call it that. In actual fact this is a great opportunity to show further maturity.
AJ will be looking to make a statement in this fight , I expect a definitive AJ for this fight and probably a brutal performance by him . 9 months is his longest layoff but its really a 2 month extension to a planned fight being April , instead we got June . If anything having a little longer may actually help him focus more since he is fighting on away soil .
