I remember early in Framptons career, Mcguigan always humbly was saying Frampton was a much better fighter than he was, and would achieve a lot more than he did.

Well now that Framptons career is in it's final chapter and almost over, do you think Frampton was a better fighter than Mcguigan? has he achieved more?

I find these difficult to answer and I have respect for both but I've gone for McGuigan. Not as accomplished technically, but as a pure fighter I think he has the edge. In accomplishments, he has the better win in my view and he was a household name in a way that few boxers these days will achieve.

McGuigan clearly. Pedroza, LaPorte and Taylor is a much stronger list of victims than Santa Cruz, Quigg and a faded Donaire.

Everybody knew the Clones Cyclone - Frampton mainly due to PPV, can walk down any high street in the UK and very few know him. Up to the LSC first fight, this would be a very hard question.

Since that first LSC fight, Frampton lost hunger and desire looking very average/poor in nearly all fights since.

    The Clones Cyclone for me.

English , Irish , British or whoever you were , everyone was supporting Barry in his prime. That night at Luton town was amazing I was about 8 at them time and still remember now.

Carl just doent have that same pulling power and never will.

Everyone knew Audley Harrison too lol. Just cause Mcguigan was well known and Frampton isn't really, doesn't mean Mcguigan is great and
    and Frampton isn't

Amir Khan is the most followed current boxer in the world on twitter for example ffs!!:lol:

McGuigan had a very short prime.

It’s a close one but I’ll just edge Barry.
