Who wins? I really like big Daddy, I'm so pissed he fought Whyte at 50%. Does Allen have a chance? Browne should be too talented even though he started boxing in his 30's. I can't not root for Browne. Allen reminds me of a fat one direction reject. Browne is much more appealing really hope he wins How's Browne's training been????
Allen KO. Browne is shot to pieces. He barely made it past Sokolowski and was hurt by Julius Long. Allen will probably land one of his big overhand rights and then it's over for Big Daddy. Browne looked horrible in his last fights. Can't see him winning this tbh.
Browne seems like he has slipped big time, the "old" <chortle> version of Browne should beat up Allen but this could be an old version of Browne versus the best version of Allen so I expect this could be competitive. Betting odds in NZ have Allen as a heavy favourite which makes it almost worth a punt if one had any faith that Browne has managed to get some ground back from the mess he was when he fought Whyte. I never actually watched the fight but it seems like Browne was lucky to get the win against Kamil Sokolowski. Holy crap, I can't believe that two years ago Browne was acting like Joseph Parker had no place calling him out.
I think that the Browne who beat the likes of Chagaev, Towers and Rudenko is gone. I am hoping that he still has enough to beat Allen. But Allen does have a good chin and Browne's punch resistance doesn't seem to be as good anymore. In saying that I can see Browne being able to hurt Allen who is also slow an has no defense.
Really cannot decide. If it goes the distance, then Allen will surely get the hometown nod either way. He does have a good chin, so not sure Browne has it in him to stop him. Browne has looked horrible since Whyte as well. I just don't know, I really don't
