Are they completely impartial? No. However compared to USADA and the other testing agencies they are more stringent than the rest when it comes to their testing standards. At least they are catching people, the other agencies catches people once in a blue moon.
We know USADA had to have been paid off in at least one instance, but this looks much more like a case of "Duh!" as "We never saw this coming, what happened?!"
What exactly is the accusation in this thread regarding Millers failed test? Are we saying Hearn has payed VADA off to get Miller banned?
In Dallas they blamed Oswald, For killing Kennedy, But wise folks here know better, The shooter was Eddie, When faking moon landings, Some crazies blame Kubrick, But wise folks here know better, They blame the Matchroom *****, If billy jo tests positive, And blames a nasal spray, Well wise folks here know better, Blame Hearn you'll hear them bray, So pick any conspiracy, And soon you'll likely learn, That wise folks here will claim it is, The work of Eddie Hearn,
That's not really true. VADA have no labs, no officials that collect samples. They simply use the labs and officials of that countries WADA affiliated organisation. So if you are VADA tested in the US it's actually USADA officials that collect the samples and USADA labs that do the testing. But signing up to VADA is the gold standard for testing in the US because of the disjointed and unorganised nature of boxing. USADA has no single governing body to work with to ensure US boxers are regularly tested or even tested at all. While in the UK you have UKAD which is government funded and tests all UK athletes in every sport, in the US there is no official testing for boxing which is where VADA have stepped in to try and set a standard for US boxers and MMA fighters that matches the testing in other parts of the world. Any US boxer not signed up to VADA is basically very suspect, because basically there is no real imperative for them to ever be tested and it simply comes down to the local commissions stance on testing which lets be honest is very lax and even if a boxer was caught before there was no real consequences, hence why RJJ and Hall both failed testing but nothing happened.
They caught Canelo, whose promoter has paid judges. They're the only ones catching people. Gold standard, buddy.
Tell me about USADA being paid off. i think boxing fans should really open their eyes to how corruption works.
Makes perfect sense to kill his main event for a show at MSG with 6 weeks to go. Surely nobody believes such nonsense.
Ok to Summarise the conspiracy theory: VADA is a private antidoping organisation that has been bought by Matchroom USA , VADA testing officials were bribed to frame Miller in having him test positive Having Miller out of the picture, Hearn can waste more time trying to find a replacement increasing the risk of a weak US debut, and poor event, ruining the reputation of Matchroom USA AJ is a legit PEDs cheat but he is exempt for any doping tests as result of his TUEs but he is actually roided up to the gills, but Hearn will not let anyone prove it Have I missed anything???
Yep he was set to make $6 mill for Joshua and even if he lost he was going to get 2 fights with DAZN for $3 mill each. He's just flushed $12 mill down the toilet. He better hope and pray Hearn doesn't turn his back on him. He was getting an easy ride, taking on weak opponents and being set up for an undeserved title shot. Now he will need to actually beat someone decent to get ranked and earn a mandatory shot. Hearn won't give him another chance in case he fails another test.
Assuming it actually was in his blood in the first place Remember that VADA is a PRIVATE organisation, it's not government backed or regulated so anyone working there can be befriended by a sporting organisation and take money under the table to fix a sample. I'm not saying that this has actually happened but let's not pretend that VADA is some holier-than-thou organisation.
Don't forget that they will allow you to inject yourself with IVs right in your own home as long as you pay them enough. They'll even issue you a TUE regardless if they have the power to do so or not... Oh wait, that was USADA. Oh nevermind lol... This is truly the end. The time of complaining about testing agencies that actually try to catch cheaters instead of taking bribes... What has boxing come to and their delusional fans?
