How high do you rate him compared to today's fighters alongside spence ,crawford, Canelo ,GGG and how do you rate him against other fighters of the past. I have seen people rate Loma higher than Ali him self so tell how high do you rate him?

Lomachenko is beautiful to watch. His angles and sidestepping is like a refined and polished Pacquiao. He's above all of the above in skill and athleticism.

And it's hard to rate him against the legends of the past. Personally, I don't think he gets by Barrera, Morales, or Marquez. His best chances would be against Marquez.

The only negative thing that I can say about him is that he blatantly ducked—Pac an aging and shot Pac.

depends on what im rating. theres eye rating, resume rating, historical rating, etc.
i think he could compete with anyone around 130 lbs historically, winning some and losing some. his career path is hard to compare to others, as its pretty uncommon. he had the best ams career of all the greats, but he also spent more time there than all the greats. he got a pro title quicker than other greats, but he had been boxing longer than most of them too.
his real standing has yet to be determined, as he has yet to fight guys of his quality, in a place they both belong. loma has been boxing for more than a 1/4 century, thats longer than some of his challengers have been alive. right now, loma is the ggg of the lighter weights, im just waiting to see how he does vs his version of canelo, in order to rate him proper.

Great talent that has done nothing so far to consider him an active ATG as many already do.

In terms of rating him against current fighters then he's easily top 5 P4P but that's as much a statement about Loma as it is about modern boxing's relatively thin talent pool and the lack of risk fighters and promoters are taking in matchmaking.

So everyone says that if he fights Pac, it’s only to get a name on his record, he’s old and shot blah blah blah, then when Loma comes out and says that exact thing, it turns into a duck?

2 Olympic golds, a val Barker & 3 weight champion in 12 fights... Thus far, is pretty god dam outstanding!

He needs a BIG opponent still as a pro tho... Linares & GRJ are excellent wins at those weights but I'd still like a Garcia or Davis type opponent too...

    I'll assess once he's retired.

As far as skills and athleticism go, hes a tour de force. All the desirable intangibles you want also. At 126-130 I'm positive he could at least hang with and probably beat most if not all the past greats at those weights. 135....... I think is a step too far, I think his natural weight are 126-130. At those weight classes I have no doubt he is clean of PED's and is naturally good enough for anyone at those weights.

The thing is, so many fighters from the generation before Loma and back I think the very large majority of them if not all of them took PED's throuout their careers. Anytime you see a fighter climbing weight classes likenthey are steps on a ladder and have an insane mixture of speed and power -- that should be an instant red flag for hardcore PED use. Against guys like that, a clean Loma is obviously severely outgunned regardless of how gifted he is. Top notch athletes who are on PED's are always going to be the more impressive horse compared to clean guys, so against those guys I think Loma is just too outgunned. I have no doubt Salido juiced before his fight with Loma and juiced for most of his career, I mean he went from a cagey and tough gatekeeper to world beater over night and was never much of a physical specimen until he started wrecking highly rated guys. Morales was popped too. I'm sure most of those guys did most of their careers. I think at 126-130 a clean Loma is still naturally good enough to compete with any of them no matter what they are taking and possibly maybe even probably beat most if not all of them. Once those guys move up to 135 though, a clean Loma is gonna be outgunned. That's beyond his natural weights and if hes clean hes not gonna be able to hang with guys cycling stacks of juice.

The ****ed up thing though is that in Loma's last fight, I got a bad feeling that he went to the dark side and started cycling PED's. He looked WAY more lethal than before and out of nowhere his body looked transformed from normal and he was throwing ****ing heat, I mean he was sitting down on punches and throwing savage shots against a natural LW who is renowned for his toughness and the shots he was sending downrange forced this normally tough as nails blood and guts warrior to just shell up and fire nothing in return. I mean, where did this firepower all of a sudden come from? Id bet the farm on it that he finally gave in and joined the PED crowd.

If he had won those world titles in an era when the talent pool was deep it'd be a more impressive feat than is this era were guys who would have struggled to be in the top 5 of their weight division in any other era are now considered elite (Garcia, Russell, Josh Warrington etc.)

And yeah totally agree Loma needs beat at least one of Garcia, Davis or one of the top guys at 147.

Arguably the best fighter in boxing today who would be the favorite over any fighter in the world 135 and down. I have him P4P #2 but he could very easily and has been my P4P #1.
