Which agents are you talking about here? Also the testers can turn up at ANY time. Joshua has been tested at 4am on more than one occasion.
Okay let's leave the comparisons because they're not adequate imo. AJ is tested randomly so he doesn't know when and where he's gonna be caught by the comission. They know his whereabouts all the time. That is why I don't know how he can take PED's and not fail any test, though I'm willing to listen to explanations.
Joshua isn't a drug cheat. Miller is. Anyone caught, especially twice, should be kicked out of the sport.
I can't believe how many people here are expressing their faith in boxing's drug-testing system. Just like any sport, the top athletes are always one step ahead of the testers. The best scientists the testers have actually admit this. There's no reason to believe the top athletes aren't employing the absolute best teams and experts available to pass thet tests and use stuff through loopholes and exemptions. This is professional multi-million £££ business. This isn't about Joshua and his physique. This is just common sense. To be the tp dog you have to use some PEDs. It's 2019 now, not 1919.
I am not accusing AJ of being on PEDs, as I pointed out- I dont care whether he is or isnt on PEDs. I am just pointing out how easy it is take PEDs and get away with it, and the fact that many many top boxers are on something yet many pretend its only a minority who is doing this stuff. We need to have a honest conversation about this - doping in boxing is rife and the testing and detection of cheats is a complete joke
He is viirtualy the same size as klitschko he just has ascetically better proportions. Why was klitschko never accused of peds? AJ is also a self proclaimed weight lifter, Imagine Wlad lifted weights with the intention of gaining more mass, he would be just as big if not bigger. https://e1.365dm.com/17/04/768x432/...r-klitschko-boxing_3940642.jpg?20170428145929
Pretty sure AJ is clean right now. Equally sure that he roided when he was weightlifting back in the day.
A lot. But he also failed a test at the 1999 Tour de France, for corticosteroid and only got round this with a backdated prescription for a treatment for saddle sore. He also, soon after, made a $100,000 'donation' to the testing authorities to pay for..... new testing equipment. Some, understandably, describe this as a bribe. But the point is, he failed a test well before he was finally exposed as a drugs cheat. To be honest, you can put a question mark against the name of so many sportsmen and women - including AJ - but the waters are so muddy I've given up speculating, despite the obvious questions which come to mind.
AJ has taken PED's previously, there is no doubt about it. Right now though, he is clean. Both UKAD and VADA test AJ vigorously. He will likely be the most tested boxer in the world right now. I know trust is low but we can only go off what we actually know. And what we actually know is that he hasn't been caught by UKAD or VADA. If anything, he should be applauded for being one of the fighters leading the way with drugs testing. There won't be many people taking that many tests in boxing.
In recent years, drug testers have taken a different approach, adopting something called the Athlete Biological Passport. They regularly monitor an athlete over time and map their unique physiology so that doping-related abnormalities can be flagged. But already, some athletes have started injecting smaller amounts of drugs over longer periods of time, a process called micro-dosing.
