Josh Taylor was 15 years old when he started boxing, Amir Khan was 8 years old.

@TH1 also Josh Taylor has been a pro for just 3 and a half years, and has beaten Postol, Vasquez,Davies, Martin. Has won the WBC silver title, British title, Commonwealth. Has become mandatory for a world title and won a final eliminator. Is ranked number 1 in the world in his weight class on Boxrec, and has joined the World Series, and has never been dropped.

In Khan's first 3 year and half years as a pro he had only won the Commonwealth title, had struggled in numerous fights and hit the canvas against Limond, Gomez, Drilzane, and been destroyed in 50 seconds by a Colombian bum!

Absolutely incomparable! Taylor has done everything perfect so far.

Also you say 'put some respect on his name' like he's some British ATG or something! Like he's Joe Calzaghe, Carl Froch, Lennox Lewis, or Ken Buchanan or something!:lol:
are you for real. Khan is known as a laughing stock, he's closer to David Price level than he is those guys level ^

merely becoming a world champion is not enough in the sport of boxing. Khan was in a weak as **** division. There's 17 weight divisions and 4/5 world title per weight class, and weak divisions, weak champions, vacant title shots and robberies.

There's been countless British world champions ( at least 20 If I was to guess) since Khan . There's always loads of British world champions, not all are truly world class. Ryan Burnett unified world titles at a young age , I doubt you respect him.Ricky burns is a 3 weight world champion had far more success than Khan, I doubt you respect him
Rocky Fielding, Gavin Rees, Junior Witter, Liam Smith, Nicky Cook, Anthony Crolla, all won world titles when they were never even close to being the best in their divisions etc, I doubt you respect them and don't take kindly to people saying things about them. You got guys like Charles Martin and Caleb Truax winning world titles lol

You're deluded if you think Khan is a laughing stock, the guy has the best resume out of any current British fighter, bettered only by Calazghe, Lewis and Froch (debatable) in recent years.
As for achievements by age, the 2 can't compare - he was a kid when he won silver at the olympics and barely an adult when he was a world champion, so yes, put some respect on his name. Taylor is in his peak and getting to world level, don't get me wrong, he is a great fighter but to discredit Khan, you're a mug!

Khan would be up on the cards at the time he gets stopped.

Khan seemed scared to fight any British fighter, like he doesn't want to risk a loss to a Brit or something.
He's probably the only high profile British fighter of recent times who hasn't had a big all British clash.

Josh Taylor would give him a vicious beating.

Khan's avoidance of both Thaxton and Brook will go down as two of the biggest ducks in recent memory

He ducked british and european level, and the world level lightweights and got gifted a undeserved shot at the weakest feather fisted champ at light welter ( a weight he'd never fought at), he's had a pampered, privileged, manufactured career yet still has lost and failed multiple times and is known as a laughing stock.

imagine if he'd faced the likes of Ricky Burns, John Murray, Kevin Mitchell, Jon Thaxton , Yuri Romanov at British/European level coming up, then IF he got past them faced the best lightweights at the time..Juan Diaz, Juan Manuel Marquez, Nate Campbell, Michael Katsidis.

Khan doesn't seem to want to give another british boxer the fame of having a win against him. I'd love to see him versus Josh Taylor but it'll never happen

    Completely agree.

Khan has had big fights handed to him on a silver platter his entire career. He hasn't had to earn or work for a title shot ever, whilst avoiding his biggest rivals. A smoke and mirrors career if ever I've seen one.

The only thing delusional here is your hero worshipping fanboyism. The guy has had big fights handed to him on a silver platter his entire career. He's never had to work for a title shot, and he's lost all his biggest fights. The guy has eaten the canvas now something like 20 times, and he just quit when he derided his biggest rival for quitting due to a serious sight-threatening injury (whilst avoiding him for years).

The guy is a Glass Jawed joke.

The fact that you think Khan has a better resume than Froch tells me all I need to know.
