If he continues like this he will get smashed to pieces by AJ who hits like a truck and at just under 18 stone is at least 2.5 stone heavier. You just have to wonder just what he was doing when he was 225-230lbs against the likes of Spilka and Arreola...
I think it has to do with PED's. When he was 220+ he was on them, now he's not. He's looking very natural i.e flat. You generally don't get that "3D muscle" look when you're natural. He used to have it, now he doesn't.
I do not think Wilder is on PED's I think his weight loss is mostly due to stress and lacking confidence since his weight has been decreasing steadily . He has plenty to be stressed about , under-performing fight against Ortiz , a so-called "DRAW" against Fury and every HW wanting a piece of you because your weakest champ is gonna effect you . Honestly he needs to be his best against Breazeale physically and mentally , after seeing this I'm now a little worried he won't make the weight .
Wilder's natural weight is around 210 pounds. As a reminder, he made the Olympic Games in -200. I think that if Joshua was not under product he would weigh about 225 pounds.
His body shot absorption will be zero , a little layer of fat is needed to actually endure and also required for stamina . We have all seen Wilder gas numerous times and Wilder has a low punch output . I really want to see Breazeale's condition this is looking shaky for Wilder and if Breazeale comes in a decent shape and a good training package , I'm deffo gonna go with Breazeale for the upset .
Hes actually incredibly strong considering how skinny he is. Kinda debunks the myth that you need big legs and hips to be a heavy puncher. Ive seen him weight train on youtube and its nothing special but he hits like the hulk.
You guys are so enamoured with big muscles. No point of being big and immobile, I think Wilder should put on a bit more mass but nothing beyond 225 as he is getting older and probably slower In the process.
too much time lifting weights teaches the body to push, not punch. It should really be the topping not the main substance of training. Hes proven multiple times that he can crack despite being so thin.
True no one is doubting or questioning that , I'm doubting his stamina and punch output and ring technique . He is a very low work rate fighter that sometimes only throws 5 punches a round and he has not improved in his past 8 or 9 fights , look at his Duhaupas fight and his last fight .... he has not improved or changed anything . He has in fact gotten more arrogant and clearly more stressed hence his weight loss . If Breazeale goes to the body and clinches and throws Wilder around a bit and makes it messy I got Breazeale for the upset .
Breazeale doesnt move his head or is agile enough. Ill be shocked if he pulls it off. Im a fan of Wilder,to me having that power is exciting to watch. Sure hes got his flaws but he can turn a fight on its head even if hes in trouble
