Tricky one. Technically I'm going to say AJ probably isn't breaking any rules. But I've seen videos of him where he has tons of bulking up powder, which in my opinion is as good as. He has a very good team around him, who probably know the ins and outs of testing rules and fracture every one of them. I see it in a similar way to legal highs, which are usually very similar to illegal highs with a few substances changed, which sometimes can be even worse than the illegal substance. If someone is taking legal highs are they on drugs? Yes. Are they breaking the law? No. Could be completely wrong and I don't think it's just AJ. I think any big name boxer who makes a lot of money for their teams around them are very close to juicing but aren't technically doing it. The argument would be that canelo was found taking drugs. But I believe the tainted cow excuse because it was just a fat burner he was on. And is probably taking much worse stuff. I hope I'm wrong. What baffles me is why are these fighters ****ing up their own careers taking peds when they know they are going to be tested anyway? Is there a reason fighters believe they might get away with it?
This basically. Realistically there's a good chance he is but no more so than any other boxer. He gets singled out because he's at the top and has a ridiculous physique, but you look at the guys that have been caught and they come in all shapes and sizes so I don't think that's anything to go on.
Probably is or was. The amount of muscle mass the guy packed on within a year before getting VADA tested was a big red flag. It's always possible that he's one of those very low % of people that gets that from training naturally, but that's just as much of a long shot like believing that an extremely high percentage of top athletes really have asthma or a heart condition. Don't think you can compare him to the likes of the 80's and 90's heavyweights though, because that's just on a whole other level it seems.
in my opinion yes, the stomach is the give away but I also believe most of the top level fighters are cycling/taken stuff in the past.
Yes but until he's caught it's seems pointless speculating. If everyone else is doing it then it doesn't give AJ much of an unfair advantage anyway.
Eddie keeps saying "AJ will never fail a test". He doesnt say AJ has never or will never take PEDs. He just says "AJ will never fail a test". Doesn't that just ring alarm bells? Mo Farah said exactly the same thing and he is guilty as sin as he trains with Alberto Salazar who is known for giving his athletes PEDs Not failing a test does not mean they're not taking PEDs.
Many years ago I was talking to a cyclist and that particular sport was rife with the use of PEDs when the subject came up he was completely matter of fact about it. He stated that the top people had the best doctors who ensured that they were one step ahead of the testing regime. His closing comment to me was “ are you naive enough to believe that champions in any sport did it on Lucozade” Probably a very cynical outlook but until the violators in the sport have lifetime bans it’s a plague which has affected all sports not just boxing. I am sure Miller will be back after a bit , as for AJ ? I am pretty sure it not down purely to Lucozade.
The bodybuilder Joshua probably has more drugs in his system, than big baby does. But his shify promoter is paying off the drug testing authorities. I really do wish he's caught with them, and is stripped of those shiny belts, so Deontay can add them to his priceless collection.
